Went to see a sp recently and she mentioned about 50% of her clients were asian! Doh! Now could it be skewed because she is located near an asian community? Or is it part of the asian culture to hobby? Or are most asian web savy and have access to sp more so than others? Or are they one horny bunch?

Well other girls what's your take? Just curious.

Asians are just a horny bunch !!!

Look at the population of India, China and Japan !!! If Asians weren't horny, it is impossible to create a population of that size.

When I first hobbied, I asked the SP "have you seen an Asian before?" In which she replied "of course! my every third client is Asian." I was shocked because tha figure is not relative to the demographics of Toronto. Asians do not consist of 1/3 of the population here in Toronto.

Statistics show that for every 3 Asian girls dating Caucasian guys, there is only one asian male dating Caucasian female. This is reconized fact across all university campus in English speaking countries. Is it possible that this a contributing factor to the overwhelming asian percenatge among hobbyists ?

I agree with ice_dog's assessment for one reason. I think another reason is that many asian men (from asia, not born in Canada) still have an infatuation with the "exotic" (to them) blond-hair/blue-eye caucasian. It's their fetish. I know some asian guys who go ga-ga at those types of chicks and don't look twice at asian hotties (who in my mind blow away some of these blondes in looks). It's like the folks we see here that go nuts over asian SP's. But these asian men probably don't think they can score with those blondes so many probably go the way of SP's.

Your observation explains why asian guys like to see caucasian SPs, strippers and what not(just ask Sub Dave), but the fact remains that interracial dating/marriages among asian males and caucasian females are rare.

I am not sure what the fuss is here: If you ask an Asian incall place (for both FS and MP)and/or an Asian SP/MPA, they and/or she probably will tell you that their and/or her customers are mostly(I mean more than 80 or 90%) Caucasian. Asian men may not find their women attractive just as much as Caucasian men may have gotten used to their women.

Isn't there something exotic and/or curious at work?

It is just that you are missing my point that the disparity between asian females dating caucasian males and asian males dating caucasian females could contribute to the higher than average percentage of asian hobbyists, as noted by hapkido.

Whether asian hobbyists like to see blonde SPs or not is irrelevant.

Whether odd or not I know of more than a few caucasian women that are attracted to men of varying ethnic backgrounds, including asian. I find many women reach a certain point when they too take to the idea of variety in looks and broaden their dating horizons. As one goes off to school, travels abroad, ect...they naturally meet and often seek out new experiences.

Next in line would be things they can't normally have, whether they be against the law, or contrary to religious or ethnic edicts.

Next would be things they shouldn't have, then things they want, but don't need. What's easily attainable and communally endorsed tends to seem mundane, though it may fit one of the categories above for another man.

I can see why you have concluded what you concluded based on that article, but I have not and won't, given the reality I live in.

I have many Asian friends here( both Canadian-born and foreign-born). They may go to out to see white MPAs and/or SPs for the reason of curiosity and variety, but when it comes to dating and especially marrying, most of them still stick to Asian women as hehehe correctly pointed out. And they have no problems whatsoever in doing so.

Given majority of SPs are white, it is likely that Asian men may not have much of a choice. If 50% of SPs are Asian and 50% of SPs are white (and if the population has similar distribution of race) only then conclusive results can be obtained. Among other factors that could increase the influx of asian men to hobbying may be that asian men may not find it difficult to cheat on their wives (may be they are submissive). Perhaps life style may lead to hobbying as well. This life style could be lack of privacy at home (too many people living under one shed may make having sex very difficult). Living together with many people may allow asian men to save a lot of money than white males and spend it on the hobby. There could be other cultural factors, such as the bond between parents and children. Many asian parents don't like thier kids dating and marrying white women. This may lead to psychological attraction to white women that can only be satisfied by hobbying. Perhaps, they are more horney. I recall a thread on this board where some SP claimed that asian men use more condoms that other men.

Phew... that's all I can think of. I am sure there may be several other factors. Ignoring all the factors may be premature generalization.

True, but I don't suppose asian parents encourage their daughters to marry white males., either.The fact is that many asian females are doing so.

Your observation has been noted and echoed by many. Pesonally, I think there is another reason. Asian seem to have more disposable income- they don't get into debt as much as caucasians, which allows them to participate in hobbying.
