Rick Nash to the Jays rumours are next :)

Hopefully the extra wild card slot will help create some excitement this year...

I am kind of psyched about the Jays this year. I think they are building a good core of young talent. There are a lot of question marks for sure (Rasmus, Reynolds, Lind, Cecil, Drabek etc.) but they have lots of potential. They are deep in prospects. This team reminds me a great deal of the '85 team - just as the Jays were starting to get really good. It is a big question if they can make the next step but at least the parts or there. If it now up to the coaching staff.

Reynolds?

They really only have one proven starting pitcher and three others with promise.

To me that spells big problems.

I think they made progress over the winter. Bullpen looks a lot better now. So hopefully a lot less of those late innings meltdowns.

Batting looks fairly strong with Lawrie a big improvement at 3B over last year's Jay in the same position.

Some questions of course over the starters but hopefully progress by Cecil and return to form for McGowan would answer a lot of their needs in this area.

Would be nice to see Travis Snider win his place in LF.

Overall I'm quite hopeful for the season.

Jays second baseman. They got him in the McDonald trade with Arizona.

Jays received 2nd baseman Kelly Johnson from the Dbacks. No idea who Reynolds is either.
