See, the main difference here is that CNN covers both sides of the story fairly evenly. They went after Cuomo for the sexual harassment charges, while Fox would have spun it in a way that would help a governor cling to power. The point here is they are not remotely the same. Chris Cuomo was justifiably fired. Zucker was fired because of a consensual relationship with an underling that they never reported. The only tie this has to the Cuomo shit was that it was discovered during the investigation. Zucker is not accused of giving Cuomo favourable coverage or instructing CNN not to got after the governor. Other shows and news coverage told the story, warts and all. Even when Chris Cuomo was fired, they told the story. Now Chris says Zucker and his girlfriend were aware of his dealings with him brother and supportive of that. But those are just allegations. Remember, Chris was fired for cause and wants the millions that remain on his contract.Sure, they are propaganda idiots working directly for the GOP and in no way should be taken seriously as a news source. They have sold their souls for cash and access.
Now, lets see if you have the guts to state thate CNN and Jeff Zucker directly used biased coverage repeatedly to help cover up the Cuomo Family scandals and assist their Democrats based power base in NY. And repeatedly in their coverage side with the Democratic Party.
But, let's again, compare it to Fox. Bill O'Riley and Roger Ailles were both accused of sexual harrasement multiple times. Fox paid out millions to keep it quiet. It was only after many instances of this happening that they finally fired their asses. Then we look at Hannity giving Trump strategy and his opinion on major issues affecting the country. Why isn't he facing any issues? Journalist or not, being an advisor is certainly something his audience should have been informed about. I mean, I doubt it would change his viewers opinions, but it really is a conflict.
People like you have a poisoned view of the media. You buy into the "enemy of the state" bullshit that Trump has been throwing around. You want to believe that CNN is the mirror image of Fox, just on the left. That is not the case at all. CNN has high journalistic standards. Do they make mistakes? Sure. Do they cover them up and ignore shit? No. They are fairly transparent about stuff like that. Fox doesn't acknowledge errors most of the time. Instead, they'll just shift coverage to something else.
