Great comfy shoes for gardening, but ugly as hell.

They make good water shoes to if swiming in a lake with rocky bottom they float.

CROCS is a public company trading on the NASDAQ exchange, a couple of years ago I think it was a $50 stock and today its $2.

Part of the problem is once the Chinese saw the demand they started to knock them off at $1.00 a pair and Walmart sells them for half the brand name price.

I'd hang on to them, I'd give you odds CROCS will be bankrupt sometime in the not to distant future.

the Chinese knock off is not nearly the quality of the Croc product. But, you might be right about Croc going tits up in the near future.

Ha ha ha...true enough but I'd still give you odds Crocs will never see the high side of $10 again let alone $50 and will go bust sometime in the next year or two.

Croc's may look goofy, but they're the most comfortable "shoes" I have. Even wear them at home as a kind of slippers. They look particularly funny with shorts, so I usually only wear them with long pants/jeans, etc.

Thanks for all the feedback. I think I will wear them. They are a gift from a young lady and she might feel a bit offended if she never sees me wearing them. The things we men do for women.

They are very comfy. There are many different styles. I have a few styles and I think I have a total of six pairs. Some sandals and some of the more traditional ones. I know they're not the most stylish shoes, but as long as I'm comfortable, I don't really care what the fashion police say.
I wear them around the house and the yard and when I'm just out bumming around.
As someone mentioned, great to leave by the door as they are easy to slip on and off.

I wouldn't be caught dead wearing Crocs in public. But then I think track pants are for wearing when you work out or are running, no shopping or anything else in public.

Crocs are just another indicator of the decay of peoples' public dress.

It's impossible to be a straight guy and not look stupid wearing crocs...... buy a pair of Keens if you want something comfortable, waterproof and perfect for boating....

I tried some crocs last year for gardening and outside work. But I found
that they are too soft and allow any thorn to go through the sole into my foot.
