That is exact. No virus is 100% contagious. I would say if the girl was positive the chance are high for transmission during sex act. But they are not 100%.

There was many case reported where the virus was spread in a bar, private party, wedding, etc... Not 100% got positive. Between 20 and 80% of the attendance got it. Around 20% in a bar up to around 80 in a private party.

I'm assuming he is getting kissed and some heavy panting going on. Maybe I'm allowing for more game in the bedroom than I should. LOL

If kissing and heavy panting is invoked, it's probably a 99% chance it's getting passed on. I'll leave 1% for the miracle no transfers.

As for comparing HIV to COVID transfer is like comparing hard candy to chocolate. One is through body fluids and usually a broken membrane or skin for the infected fluid to enter the bloodstream. Very rare to pass on HIV through kissing unless one has had dental work or ruptured skin within the mouth or lips.

That's the thing. We do not know enough. I would not say 1% more probably around 30% just do not get it. But I could be wrong. Human body is strange. I myself did not had the flu in probably 15 years. My ex never had the virus that cause a gastroenteritis in her whole life while I and my kids get it every other year or so.

The worst with this current virus are the complete asymptomatic. That's why we should play safe and alert everyone we got in touch with.

In this thread I would say it's perfectly possible to alert the girl without revealing her identity like some suggest... I do not see the link to reveal her identity.

You don’t get from 4 percent average to 99 percent for sex. That would be a rare exaggerated outlier. Spouses kiss too and spend a lot more time together than do a hobbyist and an SP. Spouses truly are the definition of close ongoing contacts, yet the average transmission rate is 4 percent for all contacts. That tells you something, Your 99 percent number sounds like a feeling rather than a data-based empirical. fact.

Not sure I follow. The girl already knows she is positive, if as I presume she is the one who uploaded the diagnosis to the app.
The app alerted me that I had been in close contact with someone who reported a positive test result. Whoever that person is, they know they are positive. They told the app as much.
This is how the app works. It is a voluntary tool that depends on an infected person anonymously alerting others that they were in contact with the infected person, based on the proximity of their cell phones to one another for 15 minutes or more.

Key is "in most settings" but having sex, kissing while noses are very close, panting, heavy breathing it's definitly higher than 4% and if not 99% I say closer to the higher than the lower of percentages. This is why choirs in churches are super spreaders, the spit flies when people sing, imagine the spit flying with french kissing or a nice sloppy wet BBBJ.
