This is a great thread. I'm really enjoying all these covers. Here's another gem.

You can't go wrong doing a Neil Young cover. This accoutic version of Powderfinger by the Cowboy Junkies adds a violin while margo's vocals give a melaconic tinge as a counterpoint to the original's harder edge.
This was a cover of a Shirelles song from 1960. And Michelle Phillips is still the most beautiful girl in the history of rock music.
