I'm almost starting to feel bad for this guy. He's just getting pounded on everything. Can't catch a break anywhere.

He's going out sad.

parked trucks should not be a reason for invoking an emergencies act
Actually my biggest issue was the stockpiles of fuel. They were collecting enough to be a very real danger and source of a large expolosion. On city streets. Add in the disruption on common streets and not where it should have been, on govt property, at the parliament and yes they became an actual danger to public safety.

Complaining about shutting down businesses and disrupting the little guy by doing the exact same thing is not the way to go about it. And in the end, it was shown the organizers were not raising money for truckers but for a new political party in Alberta. They were not up front and honest.

However I will also say the use of the act to take away citizens banking ability was absolutely wrong. This was the first time the Act was used and showed certain flaws that need to be addressed. I supported the Act being used but also support the lawsuits to see it amended and clarified.

I'll remember that next time there's an MLB riot.......uhm...protest
If any group squats overnight and decides to occupy a city, rubber bullets, and pressure water canons should all be engaged and I don't care on what side of the political fence they are on.

Let them change the law, people should have a right to protest as long as it doesn't supersede other peoples lives. Let them protest in a park , stadium. I don't think they have a right to block other people's lives.

What are the 3 characteristics of dictatorship?

Dictators tend to resort to force or fraud to gain political power. Dictators use intimidation, terror, and the suppression of basic civil liberties. Dictators employ techniques of mass propaganda in order to sustain public support.

Who is a dictatorship leader?

A dictatorship leader is a political leader who possesses absolute power. Most dictatorship countries do not refer to their leader as a dictator, but rather as kings, presidents, prime ministers, etc.

Which definition best defines the term dictator?

A dictator is an individual who forms a government where they make decisions without effective constitutional limitations. The dictator has absolute power. They are not held accountable for their actions and are free to do as they please, even limiting citizens' freedom and rights.

Not the same question, not the same protest, not the same protest tactics...stop twisting everything you post as either a Trump or Palestine narrative.

JT violated the charter of rights...that's all you should be concerned about. He should be in jail.
What is different about the two protests that make one legal and one illegal, according to you?

Unconstitutional...the constitution is garbage anyway.

Charter of Rights and Freedoms will not protect your so-called right if government decides to waive that right with nonwithstanding clause for 5 years, have fun duking it out at the Supreme Kangaroo Court.

So basically you have zero rights, including freedom of speech, which is made up.

It was an occupation, not a protest. Even the Palenstians who I am not on the side of go home at night and do not blow air horns.
My how you suddenly disregard a judge's ruling when it goes against your narrative.
Should I point out your hypocrisy or will you save me the trouble and do it for me?

Strawman.

This is about a court ruling that JT violated the charter of rights. Guilty.

Why don't you tell us how your hypocrisy shines through on this one and save us all the trouble of spelling it out for you?

I said they are appealing, is this not the government's right to do so when a judge makes a mistake?

Parked trucks honking their horns at night, bothering the folks who live and run businesses should be shot with rubber bullets and thrown in jail.
My you're getting creative when a court ruling doesn't work in your favour. A bit of comedic distraction here, a sprinkle of forgiveness there,...quite the hypocrisy salad I must say.

So now, you say the judge is a twat and he made a mistake? After countless sworn testimonies, due process, etc, etc...

I'll ask again...will you come clean on your hypocrisy or will you just let us watch you tap-dance on this one for entertainment?
