So if/when this pandemic gets worse (which it will). The government is gonna have to enact the following moratorium:
-freeze all taxes
-freeze all rents
-freeze all mortgages
-freeze all water/hydro bills
I dont see any other way, unless you wanna see half the country go bankrupt

Trsut me. You don’t want a lock down. It’s not shutdown like we doing now. Lock down is much much worse, literally and emotionally. I can’t imagine if it happens in here or USA. It takes everyone sacrifice and discipline today to try to avoid that.

The response of the Ontario government is a fucking joke. The criteria to test is recent travel or a close contact of a confirmed case, otherwise you cannot be tested. How the fuck are you able to detect community transmission if the criteria specifically excludes these set of people?? Seeing them go on press conferences everyday saying there is no evidence of community transmission is a fucking joke when you aren't even testing for it. I am really surprised no-one has called them out for it

Because they know that cases will skyrocket. It’s not like the virus that is so easy to catch in Italy suddenly gets hard to catch when you jump on a plane to Canada. We probably have thousands of positive people walking around out there.
I disagree about a lockdown. I feel like it’s absolutely necessary, and needs to be enforced by LE or the Military. People can’t be trusted to stay home. There’s ample evidence that proves that. A multicultural society just won’t behave like a homogenous society will. Multiculturalism is already on life support in this country. This pandemic will kill it, and good riddance.
It doesn’t exist anyway. Indians live in Indian neighborhoods and do Indian things with other Indians. Ditto for the Chinese and Italians, etc. There’s no real mixing unless people are poor and are forced to live in certain areas they can afford.
