A little bit ago, I was PMing an SP in this forum. I originally messaged her because she had responded to a message of mine in the forum, so I figured that could be a good enough reason to message her. In the message, I told her that I would have made a friend request but I was somewhat unsure if she'd take it well, so I didn't. She said that was fine, so I did. She then asked me if I thought that many guys here were afraid of contacting SPs and I said that I could only speak for myself, and ofcourse I personally am not able to actually pay for anything right now. This did get me to thinking though. What do people think: Do SPs generally only want to be contacted for services here? Or do you think it'll generally be well received if you contact one just because, say, you like their pic? Anyway, all Poll answers welcome.

SPs are just normal people like the rest of us here on terb right? So if you would send a pm to me or any other terb then why not send one to an SP here on terb too? As mentioned if you are nice and polite why not? IMO if an sp doesnt want pm unless its to book then it says alot.
When I was young and foolish, I sent a PM to an SP saying I could never get through on her workphone. She replied giving me her civilian phone number. I called and she picked up and said she couldn't talk because she was in a restaurant with her civilian friends. End of story.
While I wouldn't just PM to say I really like your photograph, otherwise if you have something to say related to a thread which is more appropriately discussed privately rather than publicly why are you treating an SP any differently than you would anyone else on TERB?
Personally, I don't mind the the occasional chat, but some men have absolutely no intentions of booking. Just want a pretty girl to chat with when they're bored i guess, lmao

Reading an earlier post I think you mentioned that you won't be hobbying any time soon.
