Contacted by a Provider

I'm wondering if any of the men here have ever had a provider reach out to them. I mean someone you saw or spoke to before, then after a few months they emailed you first? Or a provider who read your comment and said hello? Obviously I don't mean called or texted your home line, I just mean emailed you through somewhere safe, like through Terb, or a burner email. As men we are never pursued in the 'real world'. Just wondering if its any different in this world?

Yes, this happens. Here on Terb, also on Twitter or on my text-app.
Never by email.

Not a lot, but from time to time and if we are comfortable with each other. I appreciate it from my regulars.
A few times, a provider sent unsolicited messages, some unknown random girl who is looking for new clients, but there's not a lot.

Not an issue for me, usually.

Yes this does happens for me, not so much with local ladies but some of the touring ladies I have seen in the past will message me ahead of them coming to town. Usually something like “ Hi… it’s been awhile I don’t know if you noticed but I will touring Ottawa … and I would love to see you again“
And of course It usually works and If our schedules can align I will usually book another visit with them.

Yes, a couple of times here on TERB, so no problem at all with that. A while ago, a provider, unfortunately now out of the industry, after a few meetings, gave me her personal cell number, to contact her when I got the "itch" off the clock and avoid going through her place of employment. She said I was a gentleman and felt I could be trusted to proceed outside of normal work chanels..

This happened to me a few years ago, when I was texted out of the blue by a well known sp who attached a couple of pictures that illustrated quite nicely what she was prepared to do for me...needless to say I took the plunge. I think she noticed I had visited one of her sites, and decided to send the personal invite.

Just touring providers have reached out to me to notify when they will be back in town. Other than that, years ago Lexi Madison would randomly message and sent pictures.

I've had it happen and it is appreciated. Look, they're selling a service. Nothing wrong with them being proactive with the clientele to drum up business. As long as that is all it is.

Because, I have also become involved in the personal lives of two SPs over the years. That is never worth it.

I have had a few that contact me. All local sp's and with my permission. I like that as they are ready to go. Of course, it's never when they are "working" for the day, just when they're feeling like fun...and bucks.

That works for me!

I've had a couple of lovely local ladies who sometimes travel let me know they are 'back in town' and ask if I'd like to see them. This is good as it permits me to pick my preferred times. I'm retired, live alone, favour outcalls to my 'incall' and I let them know in advance that I have no discretion issues with their communication so that's OK. Otherwise, I know that they would not contact a client.

Yes, happens all the time. It’s just marketing. Don’t read too much into it.

Yes, definitely happens. Often a regular, emailing me about being in town, on on TERB commenting on something I have posted.

Also have had girls text me out of the blue to let me know they will be back in town / available. This of course is an amateur move, indiscreet, and why a lot of guys use burner phones or text apps.

Interesting thread.
I had no idea this was a thing.
I have never contacted one of my client out of the blue. I always waited for them to contact me.
Since most of them are married with a family, I would feel super anxious to contact them.

My website offers the option to send a promotional email every month to let my members know what special’s on , but I turned it off because I was not comfortable reaching out.

I might miss on something , but I don’t think I’ll ever be comfortable reaching out. It doesn’t mean I am not thinking of my clients sometimes. I do , but I am patiently waiting for them to miss me too 😅

It happens more often than you think. Most people who do so are probably not as self aware as you. If it happens on Terb DM, TWITTER it’s understandable since most guys have a hobby account. Even by texts, most guys have a burner phone or phone app for this scene, but texts is more risky since you don’t know if someone uses his actual phone so for the sake of discretion it’s best not to text clients.

I have to say though, that most guys are suckers for attention from a SW, so if they do get a flirty message they tend to book hahah.

I'm glad I asked this question.

It seems that guys are breaking into two camps: 1) guys with burner accounts that would enjoy being reached out to, as it makes them feel appreciated and wanted; and 2) guys who gave out their real contacts who can have their lives destroyed by a random text.

I'm firmly in camp 1, so my initial reaction was to blame the camp 2 guys for poor planning. But then I got to thinking that some girls ask for real phone numbers and real names during screening; so it isn't a simply situation. Plus I guess if you share finances, its hard to hide a monthly charge for a burner number on a credit card.

Net-net I think getting messages on Terb is pretty safe, and I can't imagine anyone being pissed off about getting some contact there. So maybe that's the compromise.
