Yes, you can. On one of my computer, I have 2 HD, 1 FD, CD writer and a DVD writer. Occasionally, I will also hook up my external HD via USB2. This is an older system with P4 and 1GB of RAM.Keebler Elf said:Can you have two hard drives, a floppy drive, a CD-ROM, and a DVD writer? Or is that too much?

more than one fan will be needed. Most probably one on the videocard, one for the harddrive and one in the case.baltimoron said:And a fan to cool it down.
You'll need a friggin advanced cooling system in there... nitrogen and multiple fans and everything! Ya gotta make it a fridge and let's not forget to pimp it up with neon lights.Preferred said:more than one fan will be needed. I'm already a fan.Keebler Elf said:Thanks for all the tips. I'm going to invest in another fan too!
lol dude get with the program! Most of the new high end power supplys have all the wires bundled and clad with braided stainless; and IDE cables have been avaiable pre-wrapped for a few years now.tboy said:If you're into modding, something easy and cheap to do to clean up your case is to buy some corrugated translucent dishwasher hose from Home Desparate, slit it down the middle and slip it over all those power leads. If you're adventurous you can also use a fine exacto knife to slit your IDE cables and then shrink wrap em. This turns them into a round cable as opposed to a wide flat one....
