I am thinking about taking Cold-fx to prevent colds. It has mixed reviews and the clinical tests I've looked at aren't that impressive. It's expensive too. Any Terbites tried it?

The few times i've tried to at others suggestion, it has done very little. There has been research done on this including reports on Markeplace, that showed it not what it is cracked up to be, and very much the placebo effect.

eat garlic, lots water, fruits, veggies, and sleep, and its 100 times better!!
that's the biggest money scam ive seen to attack something that has no cure for.
So just eat right, rest right, get good things into your body and you will be fine!
Fx will cure that in 7 days, and if you do nothing, your cold will be gone in 7 days.

From experience vitamin C does have some benefit.

Having the proper vitamins in your diet undeniably strengthens your ability to fight off diseases, but that has nothing to do with cold fx, and is something you need to do every day, not just when you think a cold is coming.
Get your GP to check your levels with a blood test and supplement anything that's low, or better yet shift your diet to get it naturally.
