I mean....can we take anything someone with the alias oil&gas says regarding climate change with anything but a grain of salt? I mean, Exxon scientists knew 50 years ago that climate change was real, and they hid that information...
They act as if nobody knows.
Well, there are people like kirk and mr larue who refuse to accept this, along with science.....
And.....what did this climate science say before records were kept? Enlighten us, please. Because there is a wealth of science showing various changes in climate over the eons. In fact, there's apparently a lake in Milton that is unique in the world to show how these changes have manifested.
But I am keen to see what you can produce that contradicts the plethora of modern day scientific study.
Curiousity question, because while know it’s real as is the acceleration. I also consider myself a pragmatist. Just what exactly do you see as being ready for mass production in the next 20-30 years.

Nah, they don’t do any damage to the enviroment. I’m pretty sure those batteries that have a shelf life are powered by mini nuclear plants in the trunks… the tires made from oil?? The bodies are polymers aren’t they? Let alone the cost, when stats already say. What about the tankers that ship stuff from all over the world….By all means don’t go on vacation again. Or at least nowhere you can’t get by bike or EV.

There’s an ever growing population that’s raping the earth, of the fossil so we aren’t in the stone age, plowing fields (killing millions of things or do they just go live in space or do they/that not count) for shopping plazas, roads, homes, etc etc.
Trees needed for everything? Fresh water? Let alone the refuse generated daily. Or do we not worry about that because we don’t see it…

Rising home insurance if you're out of the city
Rising food costs with crop failure
Booking vacations to places that are too hot now or burning down like Hawaii and Greece
Telling your kids you did nothing, should you have any and they still talk to you
Gas prices that are at the whim of MBS, Putin and OPEC
Explaining to other Canadians why you think nothing is happening

One of the accomplishments of the climate movement is that all
major businesses have openly advocated climate change since
Greta Thunberg began her campaign. Exxon along with other
big oil companies have gone along with their governments to set their
net zero emission targets. Steven Guilbeault our Minister of Climate
Change has offered something like $7 billion of tax credit to oil drillers
to incentivize implementation of emission reduction measures. With
the exception of Donald Trump pretty much none of the world leaders
in the west are climate deniers. Leaders in the rest of the world including
those of Saudi. India and China have all pledged zero emission. Even
Vladimir Putin has offered to collaborate with the west to combat climate change.
Climate denial outside TERB is a rarity and won't likely impact
progress of climate policies.
