I was posting OT in another thread where cigars came up for discussion. So, a dedicated thread is in order. The demographic of our members is likely to favor this activity, so here's a place for reviews, Q&A and other cigar discussion.
One topic of interest is cross border cigar tastes. In Montreal, I can get just about any Cuban but it is very difficult, or impossible, to find Dominican, Nicaraguan and Honduran cigars. For the American smoker, the situation is reversed. Also, many Americans go gaga over the prospect of smoking Cubans. The reality is that the cigars available on the American market have improved dramatically over recent years, whereas the Cubans have dropped in quality.
Of course, cigar smoking is a highly subjective experience. So, discuss.
