Yeah i saw it on sportsnet, it was a pretty wild one and a couple of fans really took some shots. Did you see how the cop was going to pepper spray a coach!

I'll bet there will be a dozen or so fans that'll sue based on video evidence. They'll probably settle out of court and get millions or at the very least a few hundred thousand.

I love the Detroit media I was watching the whole thing happen on their channel and by do I wonder what they were watching. This happened after Artest went into the crowd after a man who threw a beer bottle at him.

First of all two men wearing Pistons jerseys ran onto the court going straight to Artest throwing punches. Who was quickly pulled away by coaches. Of all the Pacers I think considering waht was being done to Artest that O'Neal acted worse than Artest.

Maybe the time has come for the NBA to move the fans away from the players so that this won't happen again.

O'Neal is a gutless coward. He sucker punched that guy when he wasn't even looking. A severe suspension and fine is in order. Not to mention the lawsuit that will surely follow. It will prove to be a very costly punch.

Damn, I wish I had tickets to this game. That punk Ron Artest has been a problem for Indy all season now the league should do something about him.

Thats not what I saw, tiger. Artest went after a fan that was at least 5 or 6 rows up. I agree that the fan shouldnt have thrown beer but you cant start chasing fans into the stands, thats NUTS!!!

In countries like Mexico and Venezuela its normal for BASEBALL fans to throw stuff.
I'm not saying its right for fans to do that but what Artest did was over the line IMO

As far as the fans are concerned it sounds like a case of instant asshole just ad alcohol. I sounds like with 3 Indy players suspened the Detroit fans won that fight. They'll get money and a competetive time has been greatly weakened.
