Chat room log-in problems

Some members are currently having a problem getting into the chat room.
I also have this problem.

Turns out my Norton Internet Security blocks the chatroom script to log-in.
I can get into chat by going into my Privacy Control --> Configure --> Custom Level --> Then I remove the checkmark for "Enable Browser Privacy".

Thanks for the info. The chat "engine" starts up for me now without turning off my Norton Internet Security but I have another problem. I enter my username and password but it always comes up with a message that I have entered an invalid username or password. Go figure, I can log onto terb with them but not the chat. I wonder if it has something to do with the " in "Techie". Techie without the quotes was already taken; maybe I'll try setting up another user.

Just to let you know that I am also having this problem. When I try to login to spchat.com, it tells me I need an account on terb. I have used erchat.com for years and I have never had a problem logging in.

cookie and security settings are the reason why some of you are not getting access. Also please make sure your javascript is up to date and enabled.

Any idea how I do this? I never had problems before and didn't change any of my settings so I'm not sure how to change them back?

I lived on Erchat for a while, but have given up since the upgrade. I am not about to bring down my firewall or do anything drastic just to chat. The software doesn't sound like it is configured properly.

That`s the error message I`m getting. I log on to https://terb.cc and go the review board and then click on the chat button. This is the way that I used to be able to get in and haven`t changed anything on my computer and now it doesn`t work anymore.

I cannot log in using IE, Firefox or Opera. It keeps telling me that my username and/or password are incorrect. Could the ' in my username be causing issues? Please help.
