1) Every year, for the rest of his life, he will make +$10 Million in worldwide syndication royalties
2) He gets to bang plenty of hot models & pornstars
3) He'll get a new series which will pay him +$500,000 per episode

... yup, a real loser.
So. I suppose some actor (any actor) who will:

1) only make $5 million in syndication for the rest of his life
2) Bang 50 hot chicks a year instead of 100
3) get offered a new series at $250,000 per episode for 24 episodes and perks
4) has the admiration and affection of his peers, family, friends and public because he's universally though of as a nice guy and not an asshole. (Unlike the hack, poser who is the original topic of this thread)

...that guy (and there are many of those) must be real losers who no one (on this board or anywhere else) would want to trade places with.

That must be such a tough life to live.

Charlie himself defined his girls that he once had as a sign he's winning. Sure he doesn't have to do anything to look good to us ($$ & girls) but I would argue that he is loosing when you compare him to where he was and where he is now.

burt-oh-my!

Agreed.

Sheen was just playing himself (albeit without the drug and alcohol dependency) on 2.5 men. He wasn't really called on to act. Then again, he's never been much of an actor has he?

No, Sheen has been given the "difficult" label in hollywood now. If a Producer is going to make a new show or movie, he has hundreds of Charlie Sheen quality actors to pick from and 95% of them won't be "difficult" to work with. So in the end, if you are the Producer - who do you pick?

He's not a Daniel Day Lewis, or Robert DeNiro, or Dustin Hoffman, or Jeff Bridges now is he. Hard to imagine Charlie Sheen in "The King's Speech"
Sheen is a good actor. I thought he was really great in Platoon, and he has won awards for Spin city and Two and a Half men. For his work on Spin City, Sheen was nominated for two ALMA Awards and won his first Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor In A Television Series – Musical Or Comedy.

No, he's a nutcase of course, but that has no bearing on him being a bankable commodity.

The first two yes. Your third point I'm not so sure of.
Report: New Sheen show based on 'Anger Management'

It sounds like things are in motion to get Charlie Sheen back to the small screen.

Last week, Radar Online reported that the actor had inked a deal with Lionsgate for a new sitcom in which the lead character would be much like "Two and a Half Men's" naughty playboy Charlie Harper.

Today, sources told TMZ that the rumored new show will be based on the 2003 Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson film "Anger Management." But instead of "Men's" Charlie Harper, Sheen's character will be more like Nicholson's character, therapist Buddy Rydell. Sources told the gossip site that the role won't be exactly like the film's, but that Sheen's character will be a former jock who helps defendants in the criminal justice system with their anger management issues. Sheen's character will also reportedly have anger issues of his own to deal with.

TMZ also reports that the Lionsgate deal is not finished, as Radar had reported, but that it's in final negotiations. A deal has not been made with any network yet either, according to the site.
Yesterday, the actor dropped a few hints to cameras about his new show. When the cameraman asked him for the initials of the movie the show would be based on, Sheen said, "A M." (The video is available on TMZ.)

Hopefully with my face in a pussy
I've got more respect for Sheen than a lot of others. He never claimed to be anything other than a drunken womanizing ass-grabber. He lived his wild lifestyle fully out in the open. We've seen others who live behind a veil of decency, lecturing others on morality, and turn out to be assholes.

Sheen was good in Platoon and he was excellent in Wall Street. He carried that film with Michael Douglas getting the highlights.

As for his character in 2.5 Men, he gets whacked by these guys:

Charlie is really starting to lose his shit.

This is a really cruel thing to say to your ex-wife (and mother of your children)

Also his managers walked out on him last week: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/charlie-sheens-manager-publicist-resign-666397

Charlie Sheen's Manager, Publicist Resign

Manager Mark Burg had been representing the actor for 16 years; PR man Larry Solters stepped in amid Sheen's very public 2011 meltdown.

Burg had been representing the 48-year-old Sheen for 16 years; Solters stepped in amid Sheen's very public 2011 meltdown after longtime PR man Stan Rosenfield had ostensibly thrown up his hands. The public episodes at the time -- nonsensical interviews about "winning" and Greek mythology followed by a national stand-up tour -- resulted in Sheen's departure from the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men, for which he was paid north of a million dollars an episode.

But while things had quieted down for much of 2012, recent drama involving Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller and custody arrangements of their children seem to point to a possible refrain. Says a source: "Every day is another circus ... The whole notion of 'let me help you' was futile."

Instead, adds the insider, Sheen surrounds himself with an entourage of 24/7 yes men. "Charlie equates loyalty with being by his side at all times. It's sad because he's a victim of his own wanting to be loved -- a tortured soul."

Wonder (not really) what brought that on, she really went the extra mile in taking in Charlie's children with Brooke Mueller - until their behavioral issues proved just too much for her when her own children where being physically assaulted by them. Charlie can be a funny actor, but he certainly has issues doubtless summed up by the statement above "Charlie equates loyalty with being by his side at all times. It's sad because he's a victim of his own wanting to be loved -- a tortured soul."

Obviously you haven't seen Platoon and Wall Street. He was excellent in both movies.

In a way, sheen posting something so pathetic as that shows how much his ex can hurt him.

If he truly didn't give a rats ass, he wouldn't care. The opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference.

Charlie sheen is still able to be hurt by his ex.

He still cares about her. (But he is still a childish piece of shit.)

I have a nagging feeling all this is just a ploy to manipulate his situation for the better, at least financially. Look at Mylie Cyrus. Cute fuckable little spinner to be sure but totally disgusting displays. What has it done for her? She is constantly getting front page attention which only adds to her bankability. And she knows it. Notice how all the shows commenting on the last year have her front and center? Smart little lady. Playing everyone for idiots and laughing all the way to the bank. Are these people losers? NO, I suspect just smart, or have very astute managers.
