Please someone tell me the CFL playoffs arent on today. Im flipping through looking for something to watch and NOTHING..well some NCAA b-ball and football but that doesnt do it for me. Id love to be watching the argos right now. They are going up against the monster machine in the NFL tomorrow. Um I do prefer the NFL and wont be watching as much of the CFL. CFL you had me all to myself today but you lost me tomorrow. Im sure there is a "good" explanation but i dont see it

For some stupid reason they always seem to go up against the NFL.

I'd like to think they are not idiots and know their own business well enough that I assume there's more revenues to be had by playing on the Sunday.

Id like to hear that reasoning. Still makes no sense to me. No competition at all today. Great time to have an afternoon game.

I didn't say I could explain it. My only logic is that nobody knows their business/revenue streams better than they do.

It's possible that aside from our skewed perspective from NFL loving Toronto, the rest of the country has enough interest to tune into the CFL on Sunday to get advertising dollars. The West loooves the CFL.

Not saying this is the case, just taking a stab.

I believe this to be accurate, and there is also the probability that the CFL doesn't want to be seen as taking attention away from the Canadian university natioinal semi-finals.

I'd rather watch SEC football than Bills against some other crappy NFL team or CFL divisional game.

Saskacthewan loves the CFL....no one else really except the odd person here or there. I LIKE the CFL and would/will watch but why try to compete with the monster on their day when you could have Saturday to yourself? I still have not heard a good reason

I think you may be underestimating the appeal of the CFL nationwide outside from Toronto. Just 50 mules away, look at how much more even Hamilton loves their team.

As far as Saturday, wouldn't they have to compete with Monster Trucks? Intimidating indeed.

Seeing as the only early game being televised locally is Buff/Jets, you might as well watch the Argos, also at 1:00.

Holy Hammer, What ever was said and done at half time was amazing. i don't normally cheer for the Cats but I hate the Argos more, so today was a good day. They might not want to move out of Guelph. Congrats Hamilton, one more.

the argos shit the bed the 2nd half and now i have to deal with the cheap ti-cat fans if they make their way to regina;at least, the pride and joy of the CFL(Riders) won today as well, those people live and die with the riders(like a certain % of "leaf nation" who drink the kool-aid MLSEL keeps feeding them).

Rider fans buy everything, they will make this grey cup 1 helluva party and i cant wait to get to regina friday afternoon and make some money
