CBS is ending ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ next year

I enjoyed the early years of the Colbert Report, but once he moved to the Late Show he became as insufferable as most of the other late show hosts. And in the decade since he's taken over he has become increasingly less relevant.
Conan generally does not do political podcasts.
Its more casual and is just entertainment.
I think Colbert is more positioned to doing political podcasts but he could go the Netflix route to host a talk show.
Why?
What do you think has changed about the vaccine and who do you think is really against it?
Everyone still supports the COVID vaccine and would take it again if needed.

I don't put Conan in with Rogan, Theo or any other general interest podcast.
I was thinking about all the Hollywood types who are rushing to do podcasts. The only other enterprise over-marketed more by celebrities is distilled spirits. Conan should promote an Irish whiskey. (just joking)

The issue is probably as much the medium tas anything. TV just does not get the viewers anymore jn general. Inhibits their ability to pay really huge $. And a strong TV personality now has tbe ability to make money via other streams so they might not be in the mood for cuts.

I think some people under 35 might reconsider.
Parents might elect to not have their children vaccinated.
It's possible in the future that the COVID vaccine would be highly recommended at 40 or some other age. We are learning more all the time. The COVID vaccines will likely be better with time as well.
Some like to be told what to do and some like to tell others what to do.

Atleast not in countries where reactionary politics isn't as mainstream as it is in the US.
What exactly has been proven about the COVID vaccine, other than the fact that they actually did save lives?
If anything there have been many anti-vaxxers who themselves got COVID and wished they took the vaccine.
Rogan, Theo and others in the Roganosphere are a bunch of unfunny hacks who grift in the politics and culture war space and think the edgiest jokes they can come up with is a trans joke. Ooooh so controversial and bold! lol.
Certainly Conan isn't in that group.
He is purely about pop culture and entertainment which is what I like about him.
You are either wise enough to know what to do, or wise enough to know you don't know and do what those with wisdom tell you to do.
