People are given a choice. If the tax was a good as Liberals advertised, there wouldn't be any complaints and backtracking.

There are plenty to rant about and plenty to explain why Carney advised on many of these policies he's most likely going to roll back.

You're friends were ashamed to be liberal voters. Now Carney removes the shame without admitting the faults of Trudeau.
Everybody hated Trudeau, even his own party was sick of him. He's gone, Canada has already won, even without an election :D

It's more of just, well, hopefully, the media will report the headline and ignore the details.

Though the image of a PM signing a big page a big zero looked a bit like another guy's show lol
They just back Liberal no matter what.

As long as you throw anything out to them, they will back it. That's the problem.

That's how most successful "natural governing parties" work - they know whose hands to put the money into. It works great until it doesn't.

Look what happened in Argentina last year - the government put signs on gas pumps telling people how much the gas would go up if people voted for Javier.

You forgot to mention blackface. But glad to hear you hated Trudeau as much as any other Canadian. ;)
No I didn't mind Trudeau's blackface.
It was just something stupid he did in his younger years from another time.
We should worry about Elon Musk's Nazi salute today rather than judge the actions of someone from 25 years ago based on today's cultural zeitgeist.

I don't think you understand "today's cultural zeitgeist" if you think people aren't losing their shit over stuff people did before last week :D

The 1990s: Remember when Kirk Coban sang that he didn't have a gun? Yeah, he lied. And people died.

As I understand it the consumer's gas price at pump should drop by 17 cents per liter +/- attributable to the carbon tax right away?
Wow.

And I still get 3 cents off at Shell for being a CAA member. I might yet be rich.
