Canada's just catching on to it now its an every minute situation in the great USA. I remember car jackings prominent 20 years ago in Florida.
Very true.
But what i find strange, like in Mitch Marner's situation, his Range Rover should have an app which can locate where the vehicle is at anytime?
it has been happening for years.
The car jackers are getting smarter on how they operate.
Its always good to leave your car locked either in the garage of your home or on the driveway
Although i heard that they are able to get their hands on replicas of key fobs. It is definitely scary.
it doesn't matter if your carts locked car jackings mean they steal your keys as your walking to your car they want you present so they can rob you steal car and leave.
Bear in mind he is a somewhat decent looking young guy with money. If I was him, I wouldn't want some app tracking me.
Lol, mind if i had his looks and his bank account, safe to say i'd probably do the same.
Don't tell anybody but when I first moved to Toronto as young single male, I bought a small condo on Dundonald where I would bring ladies to carry on a conversation in private. You mustn't tell anybody because I am now a one woman man.
I wonder if young Mitchell has a secret condo somewhere in the club district?

So the ports are now open again. The cars get stolen, driven to Montreal and loaded in containers for Afruca. They love the Range Rovers, Lexus etc. The gangs do this regular.
Next are the joy riders, like the recent Lambo SUV. They are kids stealing wallets, jewelry etc and take the car to escape.
Basically its criminals playing catch up on lost revenue and demand.

Has anyone has experience with these airtags , do they work for tracking if you installed one on your car and it gets stolen ?
I had read that car thieves were hiding them on cars at malls etc and follow them home and then steal the car .
