Not sure how reliable this info is. cancun is very active regarding escort and hobby world. the biggest problem is violence and gringo tax.

I have been to the riviera maya about 20 times. But never Cancun. There is agency, brothels and even street SP in Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. It seems to be quite popular. But the thing is I do not trust anyone in that scene, especially not cab driver and policemen.

So I never did anything.

Except you need to understand Mexican girl can be awesomely pretty and being on the older side is not an issue at all. I had quite a few encounters over the years with girl in their 20 or early 30's. often they have a kid. i would simply smile and ask if we could have a drink (in spanish). some i saw numerous times. when it work i would usually go on a shopping trip with them and kid and buy them stuff. Or if i was away i would buy from Amazon and ship it to them.

Just rent a condo, do not go to all inclusive resort you won't be able to do anything.

I have quite a few friends that now live down there full time. They are all with girl 20 to 25 years younger. They have that fucking permanent annoying smile on their face haha

Regular visitor to Cancun here (for quite a few years), and I mean this in the friendliest way possible: forget it.

The risks *far* outweigh the rewards. Enjoy your holiday, cut loose, and have fun, but save that side of things for back home.

That being said, Fetlife has a pretty active Cancun sub to check out, and there's always a fair number of vacationers on Tinder, etc. if you want to try your luck, but as far as hobbying goes, you'd be taking some significant risks.

Just my 2cents though. YMMV.

It’s not cheap but lots of reliable & safe companions are available to vacation with. Many will likely have special packages if it’s something they really want to do and you’re covering the expenses.
