After 90 days and massive losses they now control a tiny bit more of the Donbas than they had before the war but still less than had declared themselves independent before the war.

You are describing a self terminating cycle. You can't sell stolen wheat for as much as wheat you actually own, and it actually costs a lot of money to steal it. Each turn of this cycle, you get less money for your stolen goods, and buy fewer weapons, until ultimately you can do neither.
The West, including Ukraine, should let the sanctions do what they are designed to do, and stop throwing bodies into the Russian meatgrinder.
Stealing stolen wheat is cheaper than preparing the fields, sowing, growing, harvesting, siloing it, transporting it to the port.. But nice try to somehow twist this for the sake of twisting it.
As for "the west throwing bodies into the Russian meatgrinder". Please show me ONE single non-Russian Army "body" who was conscripted, forced or otherwise "thrown" by anyone.
