If anyone has been following this show, we are down to Angelina, Arun and Mike. Anyone of the three could be the worst, but my bet is on Angelina. That girl just doesn't have a clue.

Finale is Monday at 10

I think Angelina deserves to lose. She is borderline retarded I think. But that Arun dude is scary. For a mechanical engineering student he seems really stupid and lacks common sense.

I stopped watching after the first few shows. Having been rear-ended and severely cut off twice, I just can't stand it. It's too scary that they could even get their licenses in the first place. 90% of them should never get them back and the other 10% need to undergo some rigorous training beforehand.

If everyone had to pass road tests in a manual, there would be a lot less shit drivers on the road. I am not even kidding. Many times I have dodged t-bonings from people that drive like Angelina, or jump out blind.

As an exercise: stand on a streetcorner some afternoon, and count the number of drivers with two hands firmly gripping the steering wheel. I've never made it better than 50%, although 10% has come through a few times.

I would agree with the most of what you guys have said.

I would also say I think that indian dude Arun , lacks too much common sense to be a mechanical engineer. How on earth did he even get a license of Ontario ?

They should make a show , Canada's BEST driver .. :D

I would like to compete on that. Im not saying im the best out there, however, i would like to challenge some of the best drivers ..

Firmly gripping the steering wheel with two hands-especially granny style-isn't necessary. Dodged many t-bonings with a looser, 9-3 grip that allows me to toss the wheel fast. I also sit as close to the wheel as comfortably possible (less arm and leg travel on the pedals, quicker reaction time.)

Also if you drive stick in the city, you are running through 3 gears at every light, dropping a gear when it slows down a bit much, sometimes two. Toss in hill starts, drivers on your ass on hills (gotta ebrake them because you don't have ANY room for potential roll back). Can't be on the wheel with just two hands all the time. On the flip side I would say that I am 100x A better driver now, than I was in an automatic. Auto's are like cars with training wheels, you just pedal and you're good lol.

I prefer to use one hand to steer and the other to put on make up, brush my hair, text a la Angelina. lol Plus, I need a healthy dose of screaming and complaining thrown in there.

As for arun, he's like most cerebral types: good with books but no common sense....I think it's kind of like how they say once you lose one sense, the others make up for it....

I remember on the last series where the grandmother had a heart condition that prohibited her from driving (at all). When they kicked her off the show they asked her to promise not to drive. Cam called in her number and sure enough, her licence was suspended. She wrote them a nasty email. But that just goes to show you how S T U P I D people are: she had a condition that could kill her and other drivers yet would she stop? Nope.....

The only problem with this show is the fact that they do not have the power to stop anyone permanantly. They should be legally allowed to say: no, you're NOT getting your licence back.

As for agenlina, you just KNEW she was retarded when on the first episode, she received a text message during the interview and she left to get it......the thing is: she's SO retarded that she doesn't know she's retarded.....

i dont care...they all lose and shouldnt get their licenses back. i actually witness an accident the other day. i was in a 2 lane street...i was in the far lane slowing down and there was 1 car in my lane that is stopped at the red light. the red was solid for a bit. as im slowing down...i see a corolla passing me...decently quick...i'd save had a solid 15 car lengths to the red...i see it just keep going...and going and going...and i was like..this chick is going to need to slam her breaks...surely enough....i see the break light literally like as she runs a solid red that has been red for a while...and boom!!!! into a truck. quite amusing really. the old asian lady was lucky she didnt die. wasnt a massive wreck but her front end was really fucked up. they say accidents are accidents and shit happens...but wow...certain people are just horrible drivers and are simple careless and clueless and just should b out there.

I can never do more than one or two episodes per season of that show. Just way too depressing and frustrating. :(

Spending an hour observing is indeed a usuefull excercise to do once in a while to get perspective on some of the silly and dangerous habits of certain drivers.

However, I think even more people would benefit by standing on a corner (or actually, just about any road...) and keeping count of the number of actual violations broken down into categories of Motorist, Pedestrian & Cyclists .... bet'ya Motorists wouldn't add up to more than 10% of the total (probably less than 5% if you filter out the taxi cabs).

I hear you soul: I was at a red light a few years ago and was there for a good 2 minutes when I was rear ended by someone. They didn't even slow. They were going so fast that their front bumper came into contact with my rear wheels (I was driving a 2 wheel drive ford ranger).

The woman who hit me admitted that her phone rang and she had looked down to answer it......and since the phone wasn't sitting in her lap she had to hunt for it.

I tell you: I'm surprised more people aren't killed everyday by texting/cellphone use.....I honestly think it should be a mandatory/automatic 6 month suspension if someone is caught texting while driving.

Try telling your story to the driving examiner in the UK, and see how he or she feels about it.

Back to the show - did anyone catch the filming of the last episode (of Canada's Worst Driver) on the streets of Toronto?

Yeah I saw that Anon, it was funny how panicy they were with the traffic.....how overwelmed. The thing that brought out was: a lot of stuff is going on when you're driving and you have to be aware at all times of it.

Arun vs Angelina

Ok here's the deal...

Angelina is retarded. Period.

Arun is retarded, but he thinks he's a genius. Just look at the way he talks as if everything he does is right. His poor wife who can prolly drive better than him can't even make a peep before that asshole cuts her off. No respect at all. That's an entirely different story - how the hell did that undeserving bastard even get a wife?!?!

Anyways, my 2 cents. Arun should die.
