People, please, ya gotta keep voting Liberal federally.

The social issues that Liberals support is what makes our country strong, approachable and respected.

I can understand fiscal conservative viewpoints but that is a provincial issue. We are in a wealthy province and a wealthy city so you should be provincial conservatives. Granted.

The big ideals that make a counrty strong, that make a counrty great, that make Canada stand out on the world stage are progressive social issues...

put forth by Liberals

and denegrated by Conservatives

Please, it's a Federal election, respect your country coast to coast. Do not logde a protest and waste a vote and please do not bring human rights and environment into violation by voting Conservative.

Peace.

I think that you have been watching way to many Liberal TV commercials. Maybe you should turn off the tv once in a while.

OK...it's about 12:40 in the AM now, and I feel a rant going coming on.

First I think the undecided voters (especially in Ontario) went with the devil they knew than Harper. If these voters actually spent time comparing issues from party to party I think you would of seen a different picture.

Second, The Bloc really annoy the shit out of me! Throughout the whole elections they were virtually quiet about separtism and then in his victory seech the Bloc leader starts talking about a major victory towards a free Quebec. Give me a bloody break!

Third, I really am suprised the distance between the liberals and PC. I thought the numbers would of been closer.

And the last thought, I'm actually glad to see the Green Party has gotten their 5% of the national vote so that they will be able to do more in Parliment.

Wow. Didn't see this thread until now. I'm impressed with just how accurate the TERB poll was. :-D

It was soooooooo close. We almost had Liberals + NDP getting the required 155, but no such luck. But it makes for an interesting government.

If there were a private members bill for proportional representation, we don't need the Liberals to support it. If there were a bill passed to protect same sex marriage, we don't need the Conservatives to support it.

Friend of mine from Quebec said that the Bloc should run candidates across the country. He's said he thinks they'd pick up a fair number of seats in Alberta, where they WANT Quebec to go away. :-D

The numbers I saw on proportional representation were:
Liberals 113
Conservatives 91
Bloc 38
NDP 48
Greens 18

That looks better to me.

After reading all this I think it's time we create a new party. How about the TERB party. We have at least several months to develop a platform and get candidates for ridings all across Canada. What do you think???
