Now a days I am little scared looking at the front camera while watching porn.
Can some of these websites activate your camera and recorded you jerking off?

Did you get one of these emails? Don't worry it's fake and a scam. It's just some guy in China trying to scare you into sending him some bitcoin payment.

Hello!

As you may have noticed, I sent you an email from your account.
This means that I have full access to your device.

I've been watching you for a few months now.
The fact is that you were infected with malware through an adult site that you visited.

If you are not familiar with this, I will explain.
Trojan Virus gives me full access and control over a computer or other device.
This means that I can see everything on your screen, turn on the camera and microphone, but you do not know about it.

I also have access to all your contacts and all your correspondence.

Why your antivirus did not detect malware?
Answer: My malware uses the driver, I update its signatures every 4 hours so that your antivirus is silent.

I made a video showing how you satisfy yourself in the left half of the screen, and in the right half you see the video that you watched.
With one click of the mouse, I can send this video to all your emails and contacts on social networks.
I can also post access to all your e-mail correspondence and messengers that you use.

If you want to prevent this,
transfer the amount of $785 to my bitcoin address (if you do not know how to do this, write to Google: "Buy Bitcoin").

My bitcoin address (BTC Wallet) is: 1N6dubqFmnyQ2qDWvi32ppVbc3kKMTYcGW

After receiving the payment, I will delete the video and you will never hear me again.
I give you 50 hours (more than 2 days) to pay.
I have a notice reading this letter, and the timer will work when you see this letter.

Filing a complaint somewhere does not make sense because this email cannot be tracked like my bitcoin address.
I do not make any mistakes.

If I find that you have shared this message with someone else, the video will be immediately distributed.

Best regards!

Yeah, I get those too. The funniest part is there are always details that make absolutely no sense. They talk about my PC, my webcam... I don’t look at porn on my PC, I use my tablet, and I don’t own a webcam. They also often use old usernames/passwords that I haven’t used in forever.

Complete bullshit, just ignore them.

Here's another one I got

Hello!

I am a representative of the WannaCry hacker group.
In the period from 25/06/2019 to 19/09/2019 we got access to your account txxxx@xxxsyxxxems.com by hacking one of the xxxxsyxxxms.com mail servers.

You already changed the password?
Sumptuously! But my program fixes this every time. And every time I know your new password!

Using access to your account, it turned out to be easy to infect the OS of your device.

At the moment, all your contacts are known to us. We also have access to your messengers and to your correspondence.
All this information is already stored with us.

We are also aware of your intimate adventures on the Internet.
We know that you adore adult sites and we know about your sexual addictions.
You have a very interesting and special taste (you understand what I mean).

While browsing these sites, your device's camera automatically turns on.
Video-record you and what you watch is being save.
After that, the video clip is automatically saved on our server.

At the moment, several analogy video records have been collected.
From the moment you read this letter, after 60 hours, all your contacts on this email box and in your instant messengers will receive these clips and files with your correspondence.

If you do not want this, transfer 700$ to our Bitcoin cryptocurrency wallet: 1KUKcwCv64cXQZa4csaA1cF3PPTio6Yt2t
I guarantee that we will then destroy all your secrets!

As soon as the money is in our account - your data will be immediately destroyed!
If no money arrives, files with video and correspondence will be sent to all your contacts.

You decide... Pay or live in hell out of shame...

We believe that this whole story will teach you how to use gadgets properly!
Everyone loves adult sites, you're just out of luck.
For the future - just cover a sticker your device's camera when you visit adult sites!

Take care of yourself!

Put your left thumb over the camera on your laptop and recite the words "Numble-wumble-clutch-my-crotch, I jacked off and no one watched" and you will be safe from scrutiny.

I get those emails from time to time.

They hacked LinkedIn several years ago and that's how they got the email and password.

Dirty fuckers.

Yes. They can access any digital device from anywhere in the World if you know how. They're not collecting all of our data, text, e mails etc.. for nothing. All for the ake War on Terror which is another fake meme that people fell for.

ask Oagre. He likes to set up lighting so that no one misses him in action. Including his mom.

Just so long as she doesn't rat me out to my grandma, I'm fine!

If you are that worried stick a piece of tape over the camera or a bit of card on tape you can hinge down over the camera. No technology will get by the physical barrier.

I do wonder if there is enough storage capacity to keep recordings of all those guys masturbating to porn on this planet.

Can’t be just LinkedIn, I’m not and have never been on there and I get them too.
The emails that have been sent to me all referenced an email and password that combined I only used for LinkedIn.

In my case, it could only have come from linkedin (I believe). Though I did used to use this password for several sites, I have long ago switched to a far more complex password of words, symbols, numbers, etc. and I use different passwords for every site now (which is a pain in the ass, but necessary).

I also put a physical barrier across all cameras.

Yup. The lizard people who live underground have a giant super computer in the earth’s core. Its only purpose is to store clips of everyone on the planet pooping and/or jerking off.

Wake up, sheeple!

I have a small piece of paper taped over my laptop and tablet cams for privacy purposes along with hard drive cleaning software. Regardless, I always destroy and throw out my computers after a year of use. Too much potential evidence accumulates on them to take chances.

I listen to a lot of interesting podcasts and recently added the Darknet series. Just listened to an episode a couple of days ago on this topic. The whole scam seems to have started with a 17 year old who contacted some Russian hackers. The kid had a great idea on how to manipulate people and the Russians had the tech skills. They made a lot of money. Criminals learn from each other fast and now it’s all over the place.

Oh, and yes, your camera can absolutely be hacked. Also, it’s estimated that the actual Darknet, not the podcast, already has your email addresses, passwords, etc. It’s almost a universal truth nowadays. But there’s not a ton they can do with that, at least not on a scale to be worth anything. So they buy, steal (ironic), build these massive lists and start spamming. If only a tiny percentage of 27,000,000 pay... that’s still a lot of money.
