What does it solve? Bitcoin is trash:

Have you ever tried using the lightning network? The most secure transactions in less than a second, with 0 fees. No bank needed.

No charge backs
No banks can tell you that they won't approve your transaction because you work in sex work.
Bitcoin is financial freedom

bitcoin is a ponzi scheme. last person holding the bag loses. that’s why bitcoin investors are so annoying, asking other to come buy bitcoins. so the price goes up, and they can sell it off. leaving you with fuckall.

then there’s the crypto banks who can default (aka steal) everything in the bank anytime.

who’s dumb enough to put their money into that?

Bitcoin is not an investment tool lol. You're lost. It's a savings tool. It's a currency that can't get debased by printing more (unlike the CAD. You should read the bitcoin standard and maybe you'd understand.

Warren buffet is my idol, who recently bought alibaba and sold it at a 50% loss. He's old money. You're basically saying I'll listen to the post office and keep sending mail instead of using this new thing called the internet lmfao

By the way this isn't financial advice. I'm just living in bitcoin country and giving you my experience. Take it like I'm coming from the future and I'm letting you know what's going to happen

It was Charlie Munger that was long on Alibaba, not WB.

Edit: it wasn't a 50% loss either.

Guys, money can be made and lost in either market. Tell the person who bought Roblox or Netflix near or at top that stocks are always safer than crypto. Fact is, prices in either market are largely based on emotion and psychology, which is why people study behavioural finance and/or technical analysis.

I'm glad you caught that. Means you really pay attention. If that's the case than you know the vice chairman of sir Buffet lost a shit ton in Ali baba. If he had saved in bitcoin insteas he would be much better off.

Probably didn't because sir buffet told him it was a bad idea.

Goes to show you, past performance doesn't mean future successes

All your post really told me is that you'll make shit up to prove whatever point you're trying to make, and then backpedal later and claim it was some sort of a "test" to see if people are paying attention.

The latest Bitcoin activity is a really good example of why governments that allow you to pay for government services (property tax etc.) in Bitcoin are incredibly negligent with taxpayer money. Where are they going to find the money to make up the difference after the price of the crypto drops?

I was under the impression they were converting it to fiat as soon as they got it when they did this (since not many people ever took them up on the offer from what I understood).

The question is can we rely on crytpo like bitcoin. BITCOIN is the only answer, other cyrptos are trash. Everything else will go to 0. Can we rely on them? Yes to be sovereign. To make p2p transactions without having anyone else involved

"To be soverign".
What interesting phrasing.

Just to clarify your last sentence - are you saying all cryptocurrencies can be used to "relied on" to make p2p transactions without having anyone else involved?
That seems to be what it says, but that also seems in conflict with your "BITCOIN is the only answer" statement earlier.

I asnwered with they because thats how the question was stated. I do mean only BITCOIN. I bought breakfast yesterday for under 2000 satoshis. And paid less than a 1 cent fee. Took 5 seconds to confirm. No intermediaries

How did you do it with no intermediaries?
I thought you were in El Salvador.
Did you and the breakfast guy go outside of the El Salvador set up to do things directly wallet to wallet?
