Does it bug you when a provider calls you "Babe"?
Should I cringe when providers call me "Babe", even when they don't know me from Jack?
It's part of the marketing package I suppose. It's the language of the trade.
I'm gonna pause here and come right out and say that it bugs me. It's over-familiar IMO and kind of icky.
So what's a fella to do?
I don't want to get all huffy 'cuz it's really not all THAT important. How should I politely encourage providers to stop doing it?
