When I receive a text that says "hey baby" or even worse "hey bb" I do not answer.
If someone is calling me baby during a text conversation, I politely ask them to call me Kitty or Caterina.
When someone texts me with a name, I make sure to address them by the name they have given to me in my response.
It shows respect, effort and professionalism.

"sir" would be the most appropriate way to call the client before he tells his "hobby" name. After that use hobby name.
I backpacked Thailand for several months in 94, this was before Dicaprio made The Beach, before everyone and their brother flocked there, and the girls did say constantly, “I love you long time, I love you short time” never partook, was too young and nervous. But the stereotype is rooted in reality. I really don’t mind what I’m called by an SP, unless it’s obviously derogatory, as long as we treat each other with mutual respect and kindness. It’s nice to make a connection but the reason I’m in their company in the first place isn’t to chat or make friends. It’s to fuck.
