what would you have them call you , provide them with a name when reaching out and ask them to use it. Seriously how insecure are all of you that a little thing like that bothers you. Connect pay enjoy your session and move on. GROW UP

When I receive a text that says "hey baby" or even worse "hey bb" I do not answer.

If someone is calling me baby during a text conversation, I politely ask them to call me Kitty or Caterina.

When someone texts me with a name, I make sure to address them by the name they have given to me in my response.

It shows respect, effort and professionalism.

If I don't receive a name, I avoid using words like hun, babe, baby or sweetie.

"Babe" is tolerable if I have not met you or only met you once or twice. After that please don't call me babe!

"sir" would be the most appropriate way to call the client before he tells his "hobby" name. After that use hobby name.

I know!

When I was in Thailand, I was handing a girl off to my friend and she said, "but you said you love me long time?"

I'm still laughing about that line...and she said it only cuz I brought it up as a joke. They don't actually say that over there, but she was sharp enough to pick up on that. What a sweetie she was!
I backpacked Thailand for several months in 94, this was before Dicaprio made The Beach, before everyone and their brother flocked there, and the girls did say constantly, “I love you long time, I love you short time” never partook, was too young and nervous. But the stereotype is rooted in reality. I really don’t mind what I’m called by an SP, unless it’s obviously derogatory, as long as we treat each other with mutual respect and kindness. It’s nice to make a connection but the reason I’m in their company in the first place isn’t to chat or make friends. It’s to fuck.
