She stabbed herself when the cops showed up, so she wasn't that out of it.
The DA made a few points after the sentence. 1) if the cops showed up later, this would have been ruled a murder or murder/suicide. 2) If Marijuana is this potent, where are the regulations and warnings?

It’s bc unless it’s laced with say large amounts of cocaine crack or pcp, that doesn’t happen.

I later read somewhere else she sliced her neck. From the
mugshot her throat appeared intact though. The cuts around
the neck looked to be caused by light stabs. Maybe she was
sane enough not to stab into the more fragile area in full force.
Since the first time I caught a glimpse of the nipples of
an adult woman as a teen when I peeped into the gap
between the windows of my neighbor's bathroom I came
to realize the demons could make me do things I found
disgusting. You know when your life is run by the demons
you are no longer in control.
