I don’t doubt you. I have just never heard of it. Not saying it doesn’t exist. I figure with the amount I use, I would have heard of this type of side effect but apparently not. Maybe I should go back to my doctor and “yo - what’s up with non- warning” LOL
Unless you have a predisposition, it's an non issue.

The DA made a few points after the sentence. 1) if the cops showed up later, this would have been ruled a murder or murder/suicide. 2) If Marijuana is this potent, where are the regulations and warnings?

The judge must have took some pay under the table.

They say she went into an uncontrolled psychotic frenzy and had no control over her actions, because of the weed, because of which they found her guilty, but not culpable. Is weed psychosis even a thing? Never heard of this before.
Yes it is, Some people with undiagnosed or pre-existing schizophrenia should not use the devil's lettuce. The trigging or the psychosis is still not fully understood. Some young people run the risk of this happening if they have a family history of schizophrenia which typically manifested between 18-35 year of age

So her being high was involuntary?
Really? Because her boyfriend pressured her to take another bong hit after the first one she took completely willingly.
So, peer pressure is now a defense? Would that apply to drunk driving? I only volunteered to have one drink, the rest were involuntary due to being pressured to drink them.

This is insane.

And the boyfriend is dead, so the only one saying that he told her to take another hit is the very accused. Interesting. Isn't that Hearsay?

Yeah and at 33 are we to believe that she didn't have any experience with marijuana?

Who gives a shit if she was high? She's still culpable. What kind of dumbass ruling is this? Involuntary intoxication...she was literally trying to get high! That's why she took the second hit!!
Can you imagine if a drunk driver used the defense of alcohol-induced stupor? Oh, but judge, he wasn't trying to get drunk, just a little buzz! That's why he had that 6th beer.

It’s bc unless it’s laced with say large amounts of cocaine crack or pcp, that doesn’t happen.
If you smoke WAY too much you’ll most likely just fall asleep. Not go into a psychotic rage

I decapitated a woman after smoking some potent
cannabis I would be sentenced to community services
for an act committed under the influence of pot-induced
psychosis. But if I did something more innocuous like
running my hand under her skirt would I receive a less
severe sentence?

Any of your legal geniuses actually read the article before posting?....

Maybe you should.
Cool.
So next time someone is 2x over the legal limit and kills 5 it’s an easy defense. I was drunk/stoned.

Cool.
Next time a guy rapes or rapes and kills a woman after she says no. It’s an easy defence. I was drunk/ stoned.

Cool.
Next time an alcoholic kills his wife in a fit of rage. It’s an easy defense. I was drunk/stoned

I heard she slashed her wrist not throat but I could be
mistaken. She also attacked her dog.

Peril of smoking weeds.
I later read somewhere else she sliced her neck. From the
mugshot her throat appeared intact though. The cuts around
the neck looked to be caused by light stabs. Maybe she was
sane enough not to stab into the more fragile area in full force.

Since the first time I caught a glimpse of the nipples of
an adult woman as a teen when I peeped into the gap
between the windows of my neighbor's bathroom I came
to realize the demons could make me do things I found
disgusting. You know when your life is run by the demons
you are no longer in control.

Same way it appeared to me, like part of an act. If so then it worked great
