Thugs with badges in every city...I’m guessing he didn’t intend for the guy to fall to the ground like that but wtf are you thinking pushing someone that age anyway? Not to sound racist but I’m glad that guy was white, if that was a black man shit would have hit the fan in a bigger way. I hope he makes it, a hit to the back of the head like that can be fatal at any age...guy comes out to peacefully protest & look what he gets ffs
So the guy comes up to a column of police in full riot gear and looks to start chewing them out and gets ever so gently pushed.

Cops are making a lot of lifetime enemies this week by brutalizing peaceful legal protesters all over the country.......yes, stupid is as stupid does. Maybe 1% were looters, the rest were peaceful protesters trying to send a message of equality and justice and the need for police reform. They don't deserve to be brutalized, but that is what Trump wants, because he's a fascist at heart

"Dude" did not fall straight back.
The elderly man was responding to the command and was stepping backwards.
He just wasn't walking backwards fast enough for the shuffling police office who reached over diagnonally, and shoved him backwards diagonally within two steps of him backing up.!
THE MAN WAS NOT EVEN IN FRONT OF THE COP WHO SHOVED HIM!
When I heard the unmistakable sickening thud of a his head striking the concrete, I immediately knew he would die from it. When I saw the blood pouring out of his ear, I actually cried.... within a second of seeing the blood and his hand go limp.
I was swept up in an overwhelming feeling of grief for this brave man whose life was taken for the very reason he was protesting.
And the proof of the validity of his protest was the collective inhuman police indifference to this elderly citizen bleeding out his ear. ALL of the Blue uniformed men just kept on walking to shove the next citizen... or just milled around. NOT ONE OF THE POLICE OFFICERS HAD ANY INSTINCT TO ATTEND TO THEIR FELLOW HUMAN! Only the camo-soldier had the humanity or training to tend to a wounded man.
I totally agree with what you felt as well. If you met me and saw my size, you'd wonder how a guy like me tears up for anything and this poor guy pulled at my heart big time!
I see 2 sides to the video....
1. The guy shouldnt have confronted the police thinking nothing was going to happen,
2. If you watch closely, he stuttered his step and he fell back by tripping over his feet but definitely from help by the police with a shove.
I think we can also agree that the cop who did it felt instant remorse when he seen what happened. He removed himself from the line and hung his head. Anyone with a heart would feel the guilt and regret. Shit happened and this is a mistake you cant take back!
I hope the senior recovers fully but I also hope someone is held to the full extent of the law like this officer.

Was the old man rioting? Take a closer look. You do not need to consult the law about how much force the police is allowed to have or use in riots.
