This is fine as long as you don't fall for them and they don't manipulate you further (i.e. that recent case where the poor old guy was fleeced). Fantasy is fun as long as we keep the reality of the situation in mind. I don't get the impression that Brooke is the type to try to manipulate that way, it seems MUCH more of a stripper (and stripper-turned-SP) game. And I acknowledge I just made a generalization but did throw in the word "seems"... some are extremely skilled in making you feel like their boyfriend.
That was very well said. And very true, it applies to any "job" that anyone has. You're right. We are in it for the money... but I would hope no one is in it JUST for the money. That would be a way to burn out fast, and to hate yourself too. I've had girlfriends tell me they've thought about it, and the very first thing I tell them is - if you want to do it JUST for the money, don't do it. I do it for the money - hell yeah I do, I get paid to do my favourite thing ever! And I get to be myself, I get to have fun, I get to take time off whenever I want, I get to decide how my business is run... there are so many reasons I'm in it. Mostly though, it's because I like it. I would hope everyone is doing their job because they enjoy it, not just for the money. If a paycheque is the only thing driving yourself through the day, that would be pretty miserable
(sorry to interject on Brooke's thread, I just saw that comment and had to respond. Not trying to hijack!)
Here! Here! I'll drink to that!Yes, and the well-established and well-reviewed SPs like Cleo (etc. etc.) don't give off the manipulation vibe, either. Money, yes, but let's just have good consensual fun, too; that's the vibe I get from them. So chalk one up for Brooke being a very good service provider in that way (yep, bringing it back to the main topic)
