British accent?

There was a girl at Playmate who had lived there as a kid and I told her I was born there and lived there until 8 but the accent is 99.9% gone, but once I told her this, her accent got stronger (not quite Dick Van Dyke level, but it was pretty cliche) and she claimed she could hear my accent quite strongly. Amazing what a dancer will do to go the CR for more fun . To be honest I never heard her accent originally but then when we connected on being born there she put on an accent all the time.
