Was thinking the same thing, knew archy would come back, just wondered what his new handle would be.

As far as lang, he never left.
I've always suspected OTB & lang were one and the same anyways, usually talking back and forth to himself......

What's funny is that both, bot & lang ARE doing the same thing right now on that 'other' ("g") forum, in the political forum to boot, .....that we are not allowed to even mention over here....too funny!

To be honest, I don't think OTB and Lang are the same person but I guess on the internet you never now. If they are the same person they are fairly smart as they keep their stories about their backgrounds consistent and never seem to get mixed up.

The fact that I seem to have picked up Arclighter on his second post makes me think that I’ve been spending far to much time on this board. I’m tempted to try the g board but when I checked it tonight I seemed to have recognized most of the names in the politics section from here! I guess that I could try going under a different name and starting over, but maybe I would be better off just getting a life instead!

As far as “irregardless” is concerned, I always assumed that it was just an American version of “regardless”. Nonetheless, I’ll take your word that it’s not. I’m the last one to criticize someone for sloppy writing on an internet escort review board as I usually don’t worry about sloppiness here. Just don’t tell me that “different than” is wrong and should be “different from” or you really will have a flame war on your hands!!!!!!!!. Recently a referee criticized me for using “different than” and after spending much of a day this week checking it out I have come to the conclusion that THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH “DIFFERENT THAN”. I’m still changing it as I like getting published but here on Terb I will use “different than” as much as I like!!!!!!!!!!!!

WoodPeckr, I’m not convinced that they are the same person but I’ll keep my eye open for the type of slip ups you mention.

Fred knows, how do you think he enforces the empirical bans. I'm logged in much of the days I'm here, he'd know if I were Lang, which of course I'm not. Lang is a German by way of Texas, I hail from the Great State of Minnesota but currently reside in Ohio (via NJ, see United 98 thread). Hey, Pecker likes his conspiracies.....

I did a search on the word "irregardless". The word has been penned in 75 threads on all forums of this board. The suspect word is commonly used both on this board and in society by many people. I guess use of the word "irregardless" automatically incrimminates anyone who uses it. I don't understand the paranoia towards new board members. Post and let post should be the operating procedure.

PS. I noticed that 60% of the members who post in this section use the word "honour" instead of "honor". Is this bulletproof evidence of guilt?

Given it is a Canadian board, I'm a bit surprised that 40% would use American spelling. Still, a lot of Americans do post in the politics section.

Honour vs honor, colour vs color it just means that the majority of us are either Canadian or Americans that can spell.

Fixate one you? Look guy, you’re the one that was foolish enough to respond to one of my posts and gave yourself away. Otherwise, I likely would never have noticed that you came back. I would suggest that you take your own advice and stop responding to my posts. There is a nonzero probability that I could be wrong, but so far all your posts have caused me to revise my prior probabilities up and not down. Nonetheless, as in the past, I'm willing to ignore you if you're not responding to my posts or referring to me. If I am wrong (as I increasingly doubt), you lose nothing by not responding to my posts. If I'm right, you have even more reason not to respond to my posts.
