See how you twist and turn what I stated. I clearly said that the Carbon Tax contributed to 0.3 % of the INFLATION figures, and that is what minimally impacted the price of the groceries. The real reason that pushed the grocery prices to such high levels were the Climate Change Affects on crops, the Ukraine war, and The disruption of the Supply Chain.
Tell us why then the USA citizens are also complaining about inflation that is higher than ours, especially as they do not have a Carbon tax in place?

By the way, Trudeau ratcheted up the carbon tax starting in 2018. Ukraine war started 4 years later. Inflation was already increasing before then due to the carbon tax. So that argument doesn't hold water sorry.

btw where did Canada get all the money to send to Ukraine? Was a new tax increased to generate that money perhaps? Perhaps it accounts for part of the $20 billion they added to the deficit even though they promised it would be far less than that?
