So far there have been some pretty good games today except the blowout of Michigan by USC. Now it time to see if Boise State can kick some Sooner ass. I hope they do .

The Boise State game is further proof that the BCS is bullshit. How can a team like them, fighting their way out of the WAC, ever get considered for a National Championship? With their 13-0 record this season, you know it is not going to happen. Schools like that don't have a real fighting chance. The last school that I can remember who won a National Championship, while not being one of the more well known 'football factories' was BYU. Is Boise State worthy of being National Champions this year? Maybe - maybe not. The sad part is they will not be given the opportunity to prove it on the field.

Agreed. Actually the whole NCAA is bullshit. Even in basketball, unless you are in the Big 10, PAC 10, ACC, Big 12, SEC, or Big East, you are bound to get screwed. Lots of good teams in the other conferences get left out because the NCAA would rather have a 15-13 team with a big name (eg. Michigan, UNC, UCLA) over a 25-3 team with no name. It's all about selling tickets to games, getting eyeballs to watch on tv, and selling merchandise and to hell with the actual competition.blueline said:
