I thought the Renner movie was fine, although maybe not quite as good as the 3 Damon ones.

2 reasons why I find Bond movies kinda lame:
1. The loving skewering from the Austin Powers movies
2. The brilliance of the Bourne movies.

How are the action scenes filmed?

I think I tried to watch the second one and the shakey hand cam style that was used to film the fight scenes made me sick to the point I walked out and went to see something else.

I think you can see this one on its own. There's enough flashback to tell us about Bourne's mindset and why he's on the run.

You really need to check them out. The 1st two are great - Bourne Identity and Supremacy. Two of my ATF movies. The Bourne Ultimatum (3rd in the trilogy) I wasn't a big of.

I was never a big fan of the Bourne movies but I still went out to see this one. IMO it was the worst one.

Love the Bourne movies, wholeheartedly and passionately.

This new one falls short. Weak script and no character development. Visceral but hollow.

One very beautiful high note though: Alicia Vikander. Be still my heart!

Is there a bad angle anywhere on this precious woman!?

Have you seen Ex Machina Don?
I really enjoyed that one.

Oh God (Machina) Yes! I own two different blu ray editions. I thought it was the best english language film of the past year.

She's also wonderful in her Oscar winning turn in 'The Danish Girl' (how apropo) playing the 'straight man' to Eddie Redmayne, if you will.

This is where I first noticed her:

Magnificent Oscar nominated film with Mads Mikkelsen. A must see. (Watch for what the King says are his 'likes').
