At 39-48, the Blue Jays would need a .667 winning percentage for the rest of this season to match last year's 89 wins total. .667 for a whole season is 108 wins.
Yep, Jays have to go 50-25 in remaining 75 games, to reach last year's 89 win total!!

The whole Mickey Callaway scandal is very crazy. Wow.

You gotta love the statements these guys come up with:

"To be clear, I never intended to make anyone feel this way and didn't understand that these interactions might do that or violate MLB policies"

Meanwhile, this is what the guy was doing:

"sending shirtless photos, requesting nude pictures and, in one instance, thrusting his crotch in a reporter's face while she attempted an interview"

These guys are crazy!! I’ll even extend that over to Roberto Alomar. Roberto once the pride joy of the Toronto Blue Jays organization…. All the while, he had five women speak up 15 years ago/20 years ago to say that he put them in jeopardy with their health by exposing them to aids that he apparently has. The whole fiasco from 2005 until 2010 miraculously gets swept under the rug like it never happened… He still gets inducted into the Hall of Fame, and he still gets his banner lifted and number retired by the Blue Jays….. only to then sexually harass some reporter intern girl years later and now is completely suspended from baseball. What a mess!

You know the thing is....this makes you wonder how rife this conduct is in the game, and what happens is guys think they can get away with it because they see other guys doing it. I think of guys like Greg Zaun. He was probably around it for years as a player in the game, back when females weren't speaking up. He thinks it's okay cause he was around it for years, then starts acting like that in the actual work force and loses his career.

I forgot about the Greg Zaun situation. Wasn’t he also accused of steroids or something along those lines at one time as well? I remember seeing some promotional poster with him swinging a bat without his shirt, and the guy was looking like Jose Canseco.

Yeah it’s pretty scary to think what must’ve gone on and gone unreported in the past. I also always tell myself, this is only what’s being reported…. Imagine how many things are not being reported? I have also heard another absolutely crazy story about Roberto Alomar through friends of mine years ago. That was never in the news. Makes you wonder how much crap gets ignored.

The problem with this “front office window change” if that happens, we will be on the shit end of the stick with some loser ass baseball for a long time.

If this team has any chance at remaining competitive over the next five years or more… I don’t see any other way to do it other than signing Guerrero to a long-term. And in a perfect world, he would accept a three year deal and try to revalue and reset his free agency when he’s 28 years old.

Well what happened with Zaun post playing career, he was really into weight lifting and bulked up big time. Don't know if he was on the juice at that time. The situation that happened with him, was there was some black book or something a bunch of players that were linked to PED's. Zaun's name was in it. His version of the story is he owed someone money, gave him a blank cheque, and that person used the cheque to buy the PED's....lol.

lol omg. I just looked him up and read that as of this year he is coaching the Lexington Legends of Lexington Kentucky in the independent Atlantic league. Kind of odd that he went on to have a career after getting fired from Sportsnet for inappropriate conduct towards females. Quite surprising actually.

I like the new phrase "Springer Dinger".

Shoaib Ali made a good point on Jays talk after the game today. He said he thinks that instead of firing Ross Atkins at the end of the year, Shapiro will probably just transfer him to a different position in the organization.
