Don`t pencil Curt Schilling into the Boston Red Sox rotation for 2008

Hey GR, shame on you ...........

You will have to get up pretty early to get a Red Sox story past me. When I am home, I have Boston radio on all day and have the Boston Globe website open all day long. Just like you and your Leafs and Raptors, well that`s me with the Sox .....

I even know what time the truck leaves Boston for Fort Myers on Saturday, ready for spring training. :p

Sal Fasano call J.P. a LIAR

not exactly news buts here is what the catcher has to say about good ol' Eagle nose:

If I knew actually they were going to go after another catcher, I probably would have explored other options," a frustrated Fasano said on Thursday. "[Blue Jays general manager J.P. Ricciardi] gave me his word that I was going to be the big league backup."

Am actually excited to watch this coming season.
If only the offense steps up a bit they will be fine.
Arguably the best young pitching staff in the league.
If Doc and BJ are healthy it'll only help.

I'd say that's a must if they are to succeed. IMO they need about 35 wins from those two to be in the running.

#2 A full year of great stuff from Burnett
There seems to be some sort of myth that Burnett is a great pitcher but really he is 69 wins 66 losses career.

I'm assuming you meant Roy and A.J. and not BJ Ryan. Otherwise Doc's gonna have to win 30 by himself! :D

It's because Burnett has filthy, electric stuff. His potential is tantalizing and practically limitless.

But he also has a bit of a Nuke LaLoosh in him - million dollar arm and a ten cent head.

Correct. Too many initials for me to keep track of.

I am down for fantasy baseball, as long as I am present for the draft because pre-sets are the worst.

Shannon Stewart is back with the Jays, he's been invited to camp.

If I can swing it I would love to hook up for fantasy ball. But I must warn you all, I am the reigning champ for my ESPN fantasy league and have the $2 trophy to prove it ;)

if he is healthy and still have left in the tank its a good pick gives them depth.
