If the adage of buy on rumor and sell on news still holds then I think Trump's announcement qualifies as news so now is the time to sell your BTC.

I really think so too. Whenever there is hype, for example the Bitcoin reserve, and the stock initially moves up, and then stagnates, as we are doing now, it means bad news. If something as big as the Bitcoin reserve barely moves Bitcoin, it's a bad sign. May sell all this week, will wait and see.

Bitcoin and alts should have one last push ahead of them. However, Trump has definitely soured the markets as a whole, ruining Bitcoin's smooth run up.

Whole market is in meltdown mode.

Bitcoin’s crash today has everything to do witb tariffs. Had they been cancelled, we would have been at 90k now.

This will blow over and Bitcoin will recover.

Tariff news will wear off.

Yes, short term Trump is causing a lot of major ripples, but global liquidity is the driving factor behind Bitcoin’s price.

A surge in liquidity is scheduled to hit Bitcoin in weeks if not days.

It seems that this cycle is very different from previous ones.

A lot of price manipulation is going on, and traders as well as long-term holders are being liquidated and shaken out. It’s been brutal.

Someone knew about the crypto reserve announcement beforehand. Trump must have tipped them off. Zero regulation. People are pissed.

Also, the entire setup to announce on a Sunday, then liquidate new longs by announcing tariffs Monday morning.

Bitcoin on the verge of 85k. Incredibly bullish. Given the overall negative sentiment and tanking market, Bitcoin is holding up very well well for being a risk-on asset. I wouldn’t have surprised to see it head into the opposite direction, in the 70s today.

I think these next few weeks will be very strong.
