This was an expected drop at the cycle low. Preparation for the next leg up starting in a few days. Global liquidity also hitting around this time. Should see a strong bounce back, up to 120k
today was a fantastic day
BTC dominance dropped
alts didn't really sell off relatively speaking despite BTC weakness and ethbtc just bounced up today ...some alts such as IP aka story even went up ...other alts like sei made higher lows whereas BTC made lower lows
i highly doubt eth goes below 2200 again this cycle and most alts won't go below their lows when that attack on eth happened on Feb 3
why ? because there's no more leverage left on them to make that happen ...the amount of selling pressure on eth/alts that day was astronomical (highest volume ever on eth perps) ...it'll take a Giga nuke /catalyst for that to happen again this yr (read the twitter thread below)
only the Solana ecosystem really got hurt recently and that was needed cause of the rugpulls and memes on it
not calling for alt season, but should be a great next couple of months for alt holders

We are currently at the bottom of the 60 day cycle hence the pain.
Also, coincidentally at the bottom of the weekly cycle, so two cycles aligning to give us an even lower low.
It should be only up from here, and even though the peak should be in q4 this year, I will be selling almost everything after this next run.

If this is the new bear since mid December, many technicians and chartists calling for $ 21,700 as the bottom. UGH, I'm off 35% in 3 weeks already. . .

Bitcoin fear and greed index at 10. Sentiment at one of the lowest points ever.
My guess is that this is the market waiting for pce tomorrow. If it’s cool, we should see the beginning of the rally.
