Instead of putting let's say $ 1G into my March Madness bets, I was considering just putting it on DOGE, I think the upside is great ! Any opinions ? It stays sideways, no problem, I'll just HODL it . . .
That's a good idea. Bitcoin will peak in a few months, and Doge should go along for the ride. After it peaks, expect Doge to go nuts. The most you can realistically expect from Bitcoin is 2X at this point, maybe 3X if you push it, but with a very bad risk/reward ratio. Makes sense to place some other bets.

Looks like this cycle is very different. Most likely a much earlier peak, this year.
I've read 10 different cycle ending theories, and I don't know which one I subscribe to, but there are so many metrics to guide us down the road I'm sure most can
make an informed decision when the time comes. Last bull most expected 100k plus and not a truncated 62/69k top.

Reminds me of this guy who had tons of profit in DOGE and lost it all. Why do people fall in love with their positions ( stock or crypto ) ?
He was just plain greedy and stupid. Everyone told him to sell, but he didn't. Doesn't suprise me that anyone dumb and reckless enough to go all in on their life savings is dumb and reckless enough to hold forever.

I was watching a few YouTubers pre-celebrating Bitcoin about to have it's highest monthly candle close ever ( I'm not sure if they use UTC day end or not ) and predicting that this week was going to be a week of ATH's and some were even going to open a new long position to capture the next leg up. Even though I'm a medium/long term bear I still have my conspiracy theories that all financial markets are not organic, there is some manipulation that we can't see. What do you know, in the next hour or two, there's coordinated SELLS on BTC/ETH and this morning at about 9am EST. Is Blackrock, Fidelity and Saylor on both sides of the market ?

BTC is trending up overall. 68k used to be resistance, now it's support. After halving, in the summer it should finally take off. Most likely doubling at least by year's end.
