I wonder if throwing his dead body out the side of a helicopter should really be called burial at sea ?

Would they have landed on a carrier from which they would've properly prepared him for sea burial? You don't want his corpse to escape any bindings or shackles and wash ashore.

Obama wouldn't have taken his eye off the ball and wasted a trillion dollars invading Iraq. The could have spent a fraction of that in going after OBL and finished the job a lot sooner if not for that. Amazing how you can forget such a thing.

The US has the capacity to fight 2 major wars at the same time.
Iraq and Afghanistan offered virtually no challenge for US forces.
I have always been against the war in Iraq but I have seen no basis to claims that the mission in Iraq was the reason Bin Laden remained at large.
Obviously this wasn't just a lucky sighting and they didn't just stumble across him in a random search of caves and mansions.

I agree throwing his body out of a cooper was not right and F their customs. Besides 24 hours was still enough time to do something better.

I heard they already dumped his body at sea - I hope it was him because without concrete proof (e.g. his head on a stick) - Al Qaeda will just say it was an elaborate ruse.

If I was in charge, I'd dissect his body into 6" pieces to send to DNA labs around the world with the exception of his head, dick/balls and his ass. With those I'd make a memorial by shoving his head between his two butt cheeks with his dick and balls hanging out his mouth. I'd put this on display at the WTC site in glass vacuum box on a viewing post that says 'Don't Fuck With Us!'.

Of course I could be a little bitter. I spent two hours trapped in a packed subway car just outside of our WTC stop. I lost friends to this asshole and suddenly a news flash that he is dead but the body is gone and other than the news - I feel the same as I did when he was alive and missing. I feel a little cheated. Just my perspective.
