Bill Cosby's doctorate is honorary.
He is himself a blatant racist as it appears to me he only donates his money to afrocentric charities and causes.
That's how you define racist?
"YO !" > He was running to catch the elevator I was on, and yelled "Yo" with one hand raised and ... wait for it ... ... ... yes the other holding his pants up.
'Yo' as if that meant something. I did nothing since "Yo" means nothing to me other then half of a childhood toy.
As it turned out he was going to the same doctor's office I was and recognized me.
When he asked me why I did not hold the elevator I replied "I did not know you wanted on".
He countered with "I said 'Yo' ",
to which I said "I am supposed to know what you mean just because you said 'Yo' ?".
He then asked "What should I have said ?",
I looked at him and asked "How old is your mother ?",
he thought about it for a second and said "41".
I asked him "What would she have said ?".
His expression changed and he went and sat down.

I hear them talk, young idiots of all backgrounds, and when they speak a 17 or 20 word sentence 'yo' makes up for about five of the words. I do not want to even get into the hand gestures.
Just kids being kids. I used to speak that way 15 years ago. You're beginning to sound like your parents. Funny how that happens.
"The world is passing through troublous times. The young people of
today think of nothing but themselves. They have no reverence for
parents or old age. They are impatient of all restraint. They talk as
if they knew everything, and what passes for wisdom with us is
foolishness with them. As for the girls, they are forward, immodest
and unladylike in speech, behavior and dress." -
Peter the Hermit in A.D. 1274
"The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for
authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place
of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their
households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They
contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties
at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers."
Socrates (or other ancient)
"I see no hope for the future of our people if they are dependent on
frivolous youth of today, for certainly all youth are reckless beyond
words... When I was young, we were taught to be discreet and
respectful of elders, but the present youth are exceedingly wise
[disrespectful] and impatient of restraint" -
Hesiod, 8th century BC
"What is happening to our young people? They disrespect their elders, they disobey their parents. They ignore the law. They riot in the streets inflamed with wild notions. Their morals are decaying. What is to become of them?" -
Plato
"The manners of children are deteriorating... the child of today is coarser more vulgar... than his parents were." -
CG Heathcote in 1898
