No change for now but I'm not seeing girls without a reputation off of a BP ad.

Yes that is the party line, that agencies are not advertising sex services. Good luck with that one, when undercover after undercover cop testifies in court about the very experiences we are reading about each and every day here on terb.
How are clients collateral? Because the focus won't be on them, even if the law purports to be. It is way too difficult to "track" a client right into the hotel room or condo. He might get caught in a sting, but that's not what they're going for.
How will the sp get hit? Well, duh, do you think she will be able to say that she just happened to be in the room, by coincidence, with her photo, stats, sexy description etc. on the agency's website?
Look, this law may not stick, I personally think it is not sufficiently different than the previous law that was substantially struck, and I think I am right on that. But that doesn't mean the police aren't preparing a raid: don't shoot the messenger, ignore the message, if you prefer.
I am not getting busted in real or imaginary raids so I am all good.

You totally missed my point and with what you further wrote, I can tell you got your legal degree from watching Criminal Minds and CSI. The fact that you are not even aware that an SP will not be arrested for selling sex just furthers my opinions on your education level regarding the law. I will stick to what actual police and lawyers have told me and many many many others who actually cared to find out the truth.

But you keep up with fear mongering if you prefer.

Agreed. Original post adds nothing that wasn't already discussed to death pre-C36, speculation aside.

Weren't these the people saying that Come December 6th there would be midnight raids on all the agencies and MPs in the city? and look, it didn't happen.

There are thousands of laws on the books and police have the power to decide which ones are priority when it comes to enforcement. The police don't have the time or resources to enforce every single law to the letter all the time. Yeah the are risks now, but there were risks before to. Any reputable agency or MP will have consulted with lawyers. Agency Operators and MP operators and facing way larger penalties because of this law and yet they don't seem all that worried. Escort agencies and MPs were already illegal under the old laws, yet people seem to have forgotten this.

A lady I know very well manages an Incall location which offers only one person on site at a time. She says that since the Bill passed, she has become crazy busy, and Is in fact scouting out a second building in a slightly different area, to be starting up soon. Business appears to be booming

This is the opposite of what a friend I have who also manages an incall service says has happened since the passing of the bill. Very interesting - who is right/wrong? There is likely no right answer.

Do not give false hope - everyone should still exercise caution and not buy into the tales that nothing is going to ever happen. Hobby - for sure, continue to hobby, but be safe out there boys.

Exactly- I worked at an upscale spa that was "busted". It has always been illegal to see even an independent in a hotel or condo (for the provider AND the client). Common bawdy house laws have always been selectively enforced.

I have personally had an increase in requests- probably because I've been around for awhile... A month in, I still strongly-oppose the law and you betcha I won't be voting CONservative, but I am more comfortable with the change than I feared.

It's a different story for many of my more vulnerable peers I am sure however.

The only thing that has changed is the increased fear mongering and the occasional attempts by idiots trying to scare business away from good people.
Exactly!

People were charged under the old law AND people WILL be charged under c-36. Guys should be morally supporting our ladies while preaching safe hobbying rather than trying to create panic and damaging the ladies' businesses.

I see that as more time passes people see , as I said before , the laws will be selectively enforced on specific problem situations.

As more time passes, this looks to be more the case. It was difficult to know that for sure right from the get go, however. I'm still wary that, at some point, police will bust someone just to show that see, we're enforcing the law.

Probably true, but as others have said - it seems likely they will go for the low hanging fruit, as it were.
