Reagan was clearly senile and moronic. Butler just doesn't notice things like that.

Trump is clearly senile and moronic. Biden might be, but at least he has better people and more DC experience than Trump and therefore is a far better choice.
And that's one of the big things that Reagan made evident, a huge part of a Presidency is the people they choose to have around them and to some extent, POTUS simply acts as a figurehead. A somewhat senile guy with a strong team behind him is far batter than a somewhat senile guy who believes he can do whatever he wants.

I am a fan of Carter. And Reagan. Both had faults but they were both good men, with strong convictions. Carter has made a far better Ex President imo. And Reagan, while his economics sucked, at least put S&L bankers in jail for malfeasance. And was steadfast in helping to bring down the Berlin Wall.

Since then every President has been a disappointment and corrupt.
What was Obama's "corruptness" record that you are implying, especially when he started the ball rolling on Affordable Healthcare?

Do you judge a US President on style or substance?
Think about it.

Average $16,000 USD for medium level coverage with deductables and copays for a family of four os "reasonable? With several states now having no "exchanges" due to companies pulling out so no competition?

The above link outlines the so called affordability of US heathcare. In stark detail.

And he drained the resources on the party to get himself re-elected at the cost of 100's of seats federally and state legislatures. Left the party over 8 million minumum in debt. All to pay his cronies consulting fees for later speaking gigs and other favors.

The voters.
The voters are unfair.
They don't pick the right people and should therefore be excluded or otherwise limited to the "right kind of voters".

That is not surprising considering how highly paid the medical staff and Pharma Companies are ripping off the Americans. Private Healthcare in your link is declining and makes up just 28% of all Healthcare. Yet guess who are opposed to a National Healthcare like we have in Canada? Of course The Republicans and thankfully for the Americans, Trump failed to repeal the Affordable Healthcare and we all know that he had no alternative.

Obama gradually was paying off those debts unlike this individual:

Yes, many of his corrupt cronies could have pocketed a lot of those big bucks and hence many were either jailed or indicted for similar offences!!

Dude. The only public healthcare is Medicare and Medicaid. Most Healthcare in the USA is via private insurance. Obamacare is just a subsidy program for that.

What happens is the medical providers hike rates as they please, the insurance then hike rates, and consumers still pay more as the corporations eat up the subsidies.

The alternative is the origional plan. Slowly expand Medicare by lowering the eligibility age until everyone is covered. Thats all they have to do. Then place all providers on a standardized price scale, just like here.

And end the middleman insurance except for extras.

They didn't improve at all. The subsudies are all eaten up into corporate profits for providers and insurance companies.
Did you ever think that it might be politically impossible to institute single-payer universal health care in the US, given the strength of the health and insurance industry lobbies and the block opposition of the GOP and the Red States.

Just a thought.
