No they didn't.
They had 60 seats in 2009, not 60 votes to codify Roe v Wade.

They also would have been viciously attacked for doing abortion rights instead of the financial crisis or the ACA. You would have been right there attacking them for it f you were around back then.

Have you tried proof reading?

Oh, we are safe then.
As you know, the GOP had "no interest in solving the problem, because then they can't fundraise off of it, nor use it as a blugeon to get votes."

That was the main line people used to tell us abortion rights were safe. So obviously it is true now.

See earlier flowchart.

Because you aren't a serious person with serious criticism. You're a sadly predictable hack who follows the flowchart. (I could but the other one up if you like.)

Because the entirety of your position is "Democrats suck and what they do is bad" there is no point in engaging with your criticisms, even on the rate cases you accidentally stumble on something partially correct.

Therefore when you go off, I just poke holes in your narrative because it is good practice for seeing what idiocy I might have to deal with from friends in the real world who sometimes fall for these traps. Since you fall for all of them, I get a heads up about what storyline I can expect to hear.
In a two party system they had the job to stop this from happening. They failed. What else is there to say? Who else had the job? Who else was in charge at various points to do

There was no one else. They were entrusted to do this. They failed. Its that simple.

The GOP and its backers spent fifty years getting to this. Now it will take 50 years to get it back. And it will be a shit ton of women who suffer as a result of the Democrat's failure. That's the fact.

So in other words this is definitely the Republicans fault as Trump appointed three Supreme Court judges to overturn Roe v Wade like he promised to do so.
No woman who is pro-abortion should ever have voted Republican!!

What have votes in "2009" got anything feasible to do with the overturning of Roe v Wade?

For once blame the retarded Republicans and the sly Republican Supreme Court appointees who under oath promised to uphold the Constitution as such. When asked about Roe v Wade they categorically lied about it!!

Trump and the Republican Congress as well as Governors of the various States involved should for once be blamed. PERIOD!!

Anyway, where do your Krystal and Saagar bullshitters mention anything about "60 Votes in 2009" here? All they do is to promote the confusion and chaos in the USA that it has created in the video below:

So butler in this day and age, for once do post a link where Krystal and Saager attack the Democrats, Biden, Obama and Pelosi for doing nothing about Roe and Wade in 2009?
Why Blame the GOP? They clearly stated this is what they wanted for 50 years. Clearly worked towards it openly.

The Democrats claimed they were the only people who could stop this. They failed. Those are the facts.
And now as a result of the Hubris of the Party and one SCOTUS justice who refused to retire women will suffer and even die as a result. It was their job to protect them from the GOP and religious nuts. They failed.

Breaking Points has more truthful commentary than any partisan Cable Network today. They are not beholden to corporate advertisers nor a political party. And are damn successful between their premium subs, youtube channel, Spotify and substack. And now speaking engagements. And are slowly but steadily expanding their product with partnerships with other individuals. Because people trust them to tell the truth. To bring real news to the forefront. And tonexpise corruption in both govt and tame media.

You should watch them for a few weeks. You need to have your eyes opened.

Well yes. Now tell me what the Democrats did in the last 50 years to prevent the SCOTUS from being able to do this at all? Because they claimed they were the ones to stop it from ever happening.

Open your eyes, as the GOP are the ones that always wanted to oppose Roe v Wade. The partisan Red States are the ones that want to criminalize abortion and once again the sly and very sleazy Moscow McConnell did everything in his path to prevent Obama from nominating the Supreme Court Judges, when he also lied as to how close to an election it was. This was over 6 months before the General Elections, and yet he rushed through Trump's appointees very close to the General Election. Obama did not have the majority in the Senate to boot out McConnell from being in control at that time. Democrats were the ones that helped Roe v Wade and made abortion fully legal in the USA, unlike the Republicans who were always opposed to basic women's rights. Something that they championed for 50 years!!

Your arguments are like saying that if there is a shooting in the streets, then you should not blame the criminals that did it, but the police who are against such shootings, as they have the authority to stand up for law and order. That is very much like the logic that you are promoting!!

I have listened to Krystal and Saager on numerous occasions and no doubt they are anti-Democrat and were more pro-Republican before the 2020 elections. Some really lame discussions that obviously you do buy. But once again you have not posted anything to clarify your Democrats being responsible for the overturning of Roe v Wade, as in 2009 they had a majority. Post an opinion for a change from whichever media that substantiates that allegation!!

Tell me why the Republicans are not responsible for overturning Roe v Wade that was a bit of legislation thanks to the Democratic efforts in the first place?
Why fix what was not broken for 50 years, until the Republicans broke what was the women's rights to their own bodies?

Thet aren't responsible for overturning it. They are responsible for not codifying it to prevent the Court for overturning it. The Democrats delcared themselves the gatekeepers and abandoned the post. They fundraised off of it and did nothing to end the possibility of this happening.

Thats the point.

Butler you the better for your own party and address the problem. The fact is that the Republicans are the main and only culprits in this Roe v Wade!!

The Democrats did not abandon anything. They always opposed the overturning of it.
The Republicans worked with some really dishonest Supreme Court nominees to overturn it!!

So they aren't to blame because they've wanted to do it for 50 years and finally got the chance?
That's fucked.

If the dishonest Republican Supreme Court appointees are in a majority, what can anyone do to prevent it once they have imposed their ruling!!
Did you applaud when Reid shitcanned the filibuster rule? I bet you did.

As they have 50 senate seats and a majority in the house the only thing stopping them from protecting women's rights is fellow Democrats.

Right?

Well as Andy Beshier, Governor of Tennessee released an enail that showed Biden planned to appoint an anti abortion Judge to a life time appointment, I'd say it starts will not putting people like that on the bench.

That's what the GOP did to set up the SCOTUS appointments in the future.

See Joe Biden isn't so pro abortion as you think.

We're just back to Murc's law.

No no no.
Republicans are like a natural disaster - they just "exist".
Only Democrats have agency.
Everything the Republicans do is the fault of the Democrats.
Because the Democrats have absolute power and therefore anything that happens is because they chose for it to happen.
(It is like how Russia invading Ukraine is the fault of NATO/the US. Same principle.)

That's why they lied about it so often - because they were clearly and openly doing this.
That's why people who brought it up were derided as "ridiculous" and "blackmailing people for votes with culture war issues/special interests" instead of focusing on "real issues".

I love that you think "they have lots of subscriptions and speaking engagements" is evidence that they are truthful.
That really, really says a lot about you.

Remember that he did it only after the 41 or so Republicans in a SIGNED LETTER stated that they would oppose any nomination from Obama unless the nominee got the approval of a Republican Senator from that State. Remember that Republican Senator Lugar approved of nominee David Hamilton as a Federal District Judge, But Moscow Mitch and the Republicans reneged on their own promise and opposed his nomination. Bet you were applauding the lying Republicans for it!!
