Regardless, Krystal Ball is perfect for a visual medium. She is also very knowledgeable and has interesting takes.
Her voice is irritating and who dresses her?...LOL....Can you imagine her and Kyle at a party?...Two leftist Marxist parrots.

Having said that I do watch the show. I like Rising better though but since they fired Bri it's kind of tanked entertainment wise.

Let me get this straight...you think I'm worried Trump will lose? Lol...isn't that why Biden backed out? The democrats went into panic mode and kick him in the curb because they're worried Trump will win? 😆
He did very poorly in the debate and with Trump losing an ear instead of his head he gained sympathy so yes, why let Trump completely ruin the US and impose a dictatorship best to get younger and sharper and dissect the conman piece by piece. ?

I don't find BP has real debates very often, either.
They kind of disagree some, but don't really dig into it.
The show's about finding common narratives, so it makes sense, but I sometimes would appreciate some more actual debating that wasn't about point scoring so much as discussion.
Oh, there have been few.

Saagar, it's fine to disagree, but he does have a good historical base of the nation's politics to give context. He is a "new right" Indian man born of immigrants who was raised in Texas. Worked his way up in the news game to WH correspondent before breaking out on his own. And doing so to the point they have expanded the show with two other hosts. A few other "story" type contributors on the weekends.

They literally started from scratch. And really their view counts are beating many cable news, and they have a large paid sub base.

Someone is listening and finds them relevant. So checking them out gives the viewer perspective on what parts of the nation are thinking.

NEW: Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh suggests Barack Obama threatened Biden with the 25th Amendment, saying he had "Kamala's approval" to force him out of the 2024 race. Holy sh*t. Hersh says Obama was "deeply involved" with the alleged coup and called Biden after his "incident" in Las Vegas. "I went over [reports] this week with a senior official in Washington who helped me fashion an account of a White House in complete disarray," Hersh said. "Obama called Biden after breakfast [on July 20] and said, 'Here’s the deal. We have Kamala’s approval to invoke the 25th Amendment,'" a senior Washington official told Hersh. Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Hakeem Jeffries were reportedly directly involved. Obama's plan was to not immediately endorse Kamala but it was clear that she would "get the nod" and it was determined that her being a prosecutor would help in debates. "[Obama] had an agenda and he wanted to seek it through to the end, and he wanted to have control over who would be elected." This is called a coup.

Yeah, Krystal doesn't have the smoothest voice. Her outfits are all over the board from too conservative to night club. The other day she looked like she had on a lingerie style top (with a jacket over it). I wasn't complaining, but it was an interesting choice for a news outlet network or otherwise.

With so many news media to choose from, we are all guilty of gravitating to outlets and commentators who tell us things we want to hear. It doesn't always have to follow partisan lines. Even as a conservative, I find Jesse Waters to be a bit of an unentertaining hack.

Bear with this next point even if you disagree. Yesterday Krystal and Saagar were arguing about whether Kamala was a DEI appointment. Saagar's position is obvious and he thinks it's a Republican talking point. Krystal made the case that Vance was chosen because of his appeal to white, working class men. Obama picked Biden to be VP to balance out the ticket with an older white man. She also noted Pence was an appeal to white evangelicals.

I think she made an interesting point. Kamala Harris clearly had more experience than J.D. Vance when she was selected VP. Many of us just accept the inclination to install white men into positions as the norm.

The biggest issue for Kamala is how she will perform on the national campaign trail outside the California progressive bubble. Will she make smart choices? I find her to be a good speaker, but sometimes she gets enraptured with an idea in her head. Enthusiasm doesn't always translate to practical rhetoric. Obama was a genius at balancing energy and enthusiasm with the practical side.

I'm sure there have been, I just find it is less than you would expect given the premise.

They literally started from scratch. And really their view counts are beating many cable news, and they have a large paid sub base.

Which is why I occasionally check them out.
Just like the other pundit shows.
It is worth seeing the spin and narrative people are consuming.

This is all true.
The discussion around VPs has always been about balancing the ticket, what they bring, etc.
Suddenly calling that a "DEI hire" when it is Harris is nonsensical.

That's why the DEI hire attack is being retroactively applied to her ever getting into politics in the first place.

So let me get this straight...he did poorly in the debate, did poorly on the polls so a guy who said he good and ready for 4 more years...backed by mainstream media (before the debate) tuck his tail and backed out of the election?
Remember when 2016 Trump wasn't doing too good on the polls? Why didn't he quit? Because this felon is a fighter...

I guess Hersh has moved on from his lying bullshit about Ukraine / the USA blowing the Nordstream pipeline and being able - somehow - to "prove" that.

Must be hell being too old to do your job, but needing to stay relevant.

He did get bailed out by Russia via Wikileaks, it's true.
Biden didn't have that to stop the internal party freakout.
Trump, after the pussy grabbing tape dropped, could have been in for 3 or 4 weeks of people in the GOP calling for him to step down, but that got shut down immediately by the counter-programming of the email leaks.

But it was the GOP party trying to push him out....not his base....were the polls lying back in 2016 when it showed Hillary winning landslide backed by mainstream media that there's no way Trump will win? Were they telling the truth now that Biden is doing bad? Let's face it...Trump wasn't dropping out despite the "scandals".

so why is this amazing? His base are deplorables and he is a fighter for himself not for others. Why is that a good thing?

Are his base "deplorables" because they believe in him and think he will do what's best for America? Remember that people will vote for who they think will do good for the country...that's both sides...

We will never know.
They didn't have the month-long media blitz to change opinion.
They got it short circuited.

Would Trump have dropped out if there had been enough pressure?
Maybe.

It's one of those great counter-factuals.

Nope.
The "deplorables" were specifically the authoritarian, white-supremecist, sexist, etc. group of Trump voters.

His voters weren't all that. At least not according to Hilary Clinton.
But they heard that and decided "Yes, we ARE!" and proudly claimed the name deplorables and said she was trying to insult them.
That racism and sexism and authoritarianism is what they think is "good for the country".

It was a real wake up call to lots of people, I think.
You don't expect people to go "Oh NO! We're MORE BIGOTED THAN YOU THOUGHT!" but it is what it is.

Unlike the Repugs, who snivel up to an incompetent orange con man because of the cultist magabase, the Dems know when someone has got to go. Biden was too old and I have always said so but SO IS YOUR CONMAN, yet you have become part of the cult.
