BBC Censored Benazir Bhutto's Reports that Bin Laden Had Been Murdered

When a news organization as venerable as the BBC censors the reportage of a story as important as the assassination of Benzir Bhutto --a highly visible critic of Bush/British policy with regard to the "War on Terrorism" et al --it is fair to ask: who is the BBC protecting? Are they covering up the motive for her murder? Are they protecting the regimes that engineered her assassination?

Here is the original, unedited version in which Bhutto states that Bin Laden had been murdered.
Bhutto herself has exposed a the motive for her murder. Solving the case is a matter of finding the gunmen thought by Hilary Clinton to be among Pakistani troops.
CLINTON, Iowa - Hillary Rodham Clinton waded into Pakistan's volatile internal political situation yesterday, raising the possibility the country's military might have assassinated Benazir Bhutto because the killing took place in the garrison city of Rawalpindi.
Clinton's remarks came as Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf's government seemed to reject a call for an independent international investigation of the murder that Clinton and John Edwards proposed on Friday.
During a question-and-answer session at an elementary school here, Clinton offered a detailed prescription for the troubled country, suggesting that the U.S divert aid away from its military to social welfare programs.
And for the second time in as many days, she cast doubt on Musharraf's contention that the suicide bombing that led to the death of the country's most popular opposition leader was masterminded by al-Qaida.
"There are those saying that al-Qaida did it. Others are saying it looked like it was an inside job - remember Rawalpindi is a garrison city," she said.
--Hillary: Pakistan troops might have killed Bhutto
Isn't it interesting that it was Secretary of State Condoleezsa Rice who brokered Bhutto's return to Pakistan when even Bhutto knew that her life would be endangered? I smell the work of an axis of evil: neocons, Bush, and his puppet Musharraf.
Bhutto herself has exposed the fraudulent nature of the Bush/Blair "war on terrorism". If Bin Laden is dead, as has been reported, then the various tapes that he is alleged to have made are all phony. The war on terrorism itself is a callous, calculated fraud perpetrated by a murderous Bush regime, a murderous Blair regime, a murderous puppet regime of Musharraf.

That's why Bhutto was murdered. She was the woman who knew too much. Bhutto exposed the fact that US policies cause terrorism and she has stated the various ways in which groups inside the US and Britain benefited politically and materially from this phony war. Bhutto posed a threat to them. She was murdered. And the BBC has has been caught censoring the most important piece of the puzzle. If Osama is dead, the war on terror is a bloody fraud!

I don't understand why she put herself in that situation. If she knew she had inadequate security (she seems to have complained about it constantly), then wouldn't common sense tell you to NOT ride around town with the top half of your body sticking out of an SUV sunroof?

Exactly what security force do you think is going to be able to effectively protect you when you expose yourself needlessly like that? The environment in the Middle East is well known.

Then my next question would be: if you are too stupid to use common sense to try to enhance your own personal safety, why should people in your country trust you with theirs?

The pope has a glass enclosure thing that is bulletproof so he can wave, why didn't she get something similar, or just wait until she got to her venue to wave?

Short answer, arrogance and a weakness for adulation.

pretty funny

"Keep your friends close but your enemies closer..."

The top poster should use this old adage in the one place where it doesn't make sense....

Why keep your enemy close when he's got a loaded gun and bombs strapped to his chest?

I don't buy this. This is a wild conspiracy absent of reality.

a) Her saying that OBL was murdered had to have been a slip of the tongue because the person she mentions is someone who would never kill OBL. Bhutto said "Omar Sheikh murdered Osama bin Laden", but Sheikh's been in prison since 2002 for murdering Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl (who Bhutto probably meant to say). Sheikh also sympathizes with Al Qaeda and OBL, so other than it being impossible since he was in jail, there isn't any motive.

b) Benazir Bhutto was a political tool of the Bush administration. It was the Bush administration and the British that orchestrated her return to Pakistan. She was a corrupt politician with plenty of evidence supporting the charges provided by several EU nations. It was the US and British that got Musharraf to sign the amnesty agreement allowing her to come back with all charges dropped.

I heard of him in 2002 when he was sentenced to death for murdering Daniel Pearl, the WSJ reporter. Given that he's been in jail since 2002 and that Osama Bin Laden has released videos after 2002 that address events like the 2004 US elections, I'd love to know how it was possible for Sheikh to murder OBL while in prison.

Look, I'm from the left, so was the source I provided (Tariq Ali.. a radical leftist). Plain and simple, the notion that Bhutto was killed because she posted to the threat is ridiculous. As Tariq Ali, who IS an expert on Pakistani history and knows Bhutto personally, wrote: Bhutto is a daughter of the west. They were using her, a corrupt politician, to put pressure on Musharraf. The west and Bhutto were working together, not against each other.

.hahaha you just don't get it, that is exactly why the interview would be so important.
Man , that's funny.
Now there is one possible explanation.
She may have meant to say: the man who murdered Daniel Pearlman".
However this was one smart woman, that is a mistake I do not
think she would make.
But you are at least correct in the ramifications,
all those tapes would be phony.
Now what that means is a whole different story.

In the end it doesn't really matter who killed her or who is behind it. It appears no matter who is in power they are all corrupt, they suppress the formation of a wealty middle class, they use military to suppress other parties, they use religion to excuse a whole lotta shit. In other words these are shit countries to live in.

Until the people wake up and say enough of this shit, let's have a western style democracy there will always be this kind of crap.

They should look at some other countries in their area that were able to transform and become prosperous for everybody, not just a few at the top.

Look at Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam....

So first Bhutto was killed by a gun, then a bomb, now... frickin' "laser beams". Next revelation is that the laser beams was the result of the "Alan Parsons Project", a conspiracy to place lasers on the moon turning it into a "Death (to Bhutto) Star".
